Lovely little place! - Edit
I have been here a few times! There’s not many vegan friendly restaurants in Milton available, but this is one! The food is great and the owner is lovely.

When I went to this restaurant the food I recieved was not freash and the restaurant was very dirty with a horrible smell I regretted instantly buying from this place after I recieved my food expecially because the price is very expensive

This was an amazing find for us after a hard morning at the Milton Farmers Market.

The only negative was the rather surly young blonde girl who served us who came across as either hating her job or hating us!!
We have since returned and she was equally unfriendly.

A good choice in a useful location - Edit
My wife and I sometimes want a place to eat about halfway between Toronto and Stratford. This one seemed promising, so we stopped in for dinner earlier this month.
Read moreThe food is fresh and good, though it took a little longer to prepare than I expected. If you know other raw food restaurants, you won't find anything especially surprising here -- it was neither unexpectedly pleasant nor unpleasant.
Both the food presentation and the restaurant itself are on the informal side -- this is not the place to show someone how fancy and elegant vegan cooking can be. That's not a complaint, that's just a description. Its informality does make it very family-friendly.
It's definitely worth going 5 minutes out of the way along the 401 to stop here, though it's not the kind of place that makes me enthuse "Oh, boy! I need to drive along the 401, and that will give me an opportunity to stop in Milton."

Tasty first Vegan Experience! - Edit
I visited last Wednesday around 5:45 p.m. I waltzed inside, it was empty and everyone was cleaning up. I had asked "are you still serving food?" and they had actually closed early for cooking lessons. The friendly lady behind the counter had graciously offered to make me a smoothie or a fresh juice, but I wanted food. They had some pre-made vegan, raw tacos and kale salad. I grabbed both. Everyone was friendly even though their a/c had broke and it was 32 degrees outside! They were quick and accommodating and I will be making another visit in the near future! I wish they opened at 7 a.m. so I could grab coffee/breakfast there :)

Superb place! - Edit
I'm from Mississauga and came to check it out. The location is tucked away like a hidden gem. The service though is A+. I experienced a warm welcome and great assistance. The lasagna dish I had was delicious. They have a variety of other stuff available to take as well making them a good one stop shop, juice cleansing kits, protein powders, etc. Highly recommend.

milton location a great food experience - Edit
Visited the Milton location of Healthenut for the first time this morning. Maria (the franchise owner) was fabulous, very committed to the vegan food experience and made it special for us. My husband and I shared the (faux) bacon-avocado on flax wrap and the Elvis (banana/almond butter) on coconut wrap with a few sweet treats added on. All very tasty. At $10 each, the wraps are not inexpensive but it's real food with texture and flavour. Plus, we sat outside and enjoyed the view of Milton's downtown. Thank you Maria for offering vegan cuisine for those of us committed to veganism!
