Be VERY careful! - Edit
The Green Dragon served DAIRY cheese on our pizza and then denied doing so before reluctantly giving a refund with no apology.. 3 of us were ill the next day because of this. Will not be returning.

Pleasantly surprised😄 - Edit
Popped in for lunch and was very happy to see a full separate veggie/vegan menu. In total I think there were 10 or so vegan options. I had the Wholesome Bowl. It was delicious and a good portion. I couldn’t believe how many items there were to choose from. Definitely returning and very excited to see national brewery pubs offering so much.

Okay, has been better. - Edit
I ordered the sweet potato fries and they came in a metal pot, I’m sure a few won’t mind this but when you want to add vinegar or tomato sauce it can be messy. (See uploaded photo) The lady who brought them couldn’t even smile also with no eye contact. I’ve ate here loads but it seems like the staff aren’t as helpful or as friendly as they used to be.

Cons: They don’t give you a plate for your chips

Super! - Edit
A separate veg*an menu made it easy to choose, or rather it would have done if there hadn't been so much to choose from. I had the big bowl of salad, which was really filling as well as very tasty indeed. My husband isn't vegan so he had a margarita pizza and it looked, and he said tasted, very much nicer than those he often has in our local independent Italian restaurant. The atmosphere was very much that of a pub (i.e. noisy) but the food was definitely not standard pub food. It's a shame we live so far from Beverley and were spending only one night there (for the Early-Music Festival) so unfortunately will never be regulars.

Great burger - Edit
Typical pub with a good separate veggie & vegan menu. We had the Moving Mountains burger (me) and a very substantial salad with soya kebab strips (my partner). Very well presented and filling. Good range of beers. It does have Sky Sports which is a big negative point in my book, but some people like it and the sound was low. Gets busy later in the evening at weekends
Read morePros: Good vegan options, Pudding (chocolate orange torte)
Cons: Sky sports, Busy later on in the evening
