Takeaway lunch spot. Offers salads, juices, bowls. Removed honey in 2018, so now everything is vegan. Previously at 1255 Dundas W. Reported closed September 2024.
Had the humdiller and goodwich sandwiches and shared insteada smoothie. Humdiller was possibly best sandwich I’ve ever gotten. Bf thinks goodwich was better somehow? Both 10/10. Somehow sanwich with no sides was very filling. Hitting the spot is an understatement
I had the carmenta Caesar style side salad, the wholey burger and the K treats for desert. Everything was very tasty, high quality and fresh. I really enjoyed all of it. 🌱 check this place out if you’re craving a burger but don’t want something greasy.
I do love the food here, it’s usually very fresh and tasty. The smoothies are made in bulk and not always fresh, but the salads and sandwiches always are. I understand that healthy food is often more expensive, but these are really unaffordable prices for what you’re getting (like I’d at least expect more than 1/4 of an avocado on my salad…). Ok for a treat, and fits the vibe of the neighborhood, but not a place I would go often for that reason. I always take it to go, seating area is small but sunny. Pro is that washrooms and layout are designed to be accessible.
I had a smoothie which was good, but it was the Goodwich sandwich that I will absolutely go back for! My only complaint was that it wasn’t bigger! So good!
Took some things to-go as their seating area wasn’t open due to COVID. Tried their Sweet Heat soup, Kings Noodle bowl and their tahini chocolate squares (small 3 pack). Everything was tasty but with tip it came to $40. 🤦🏻♂️
I wouldn’t go back simply because of cost.
I ordered the mushroom soup via DoorDash today and it satisfied both my tastebuds and my hunger. It might have been the most perfect mushroom soup I’ve ever tasted: thick and earthy and rich with mushrooms. Soup like that would be even more perfect on a rainy fall or winter day. Soul-soothing!
