Wholesome, good for you food - Edit
I was drawn to this restaurant through happy cow because the blurb says it has a halloumi burger which would’ve been great for my vego partner - but they don’t have that so don’t be fooled! Other than that the food is good. It’s extremely wholesome, real ingredients. The veggie burger was a bit of a let down for us as it was mainly sweet potato but the burrito was delicious, the sauces incredible - homemade vegan mayo!

This cafe uses home made fresh ingredients and the staff are super helpful with vegans. The chef is vegan which really helps!
Read moreThe tofu scramble in a crepe was absolutely delicious and my other half loved his burrito bowl. They also provide frozen vegan takeaway meals like soups and curries.
If you want a good value, welcoming, tasty fresh food experience The Good Food Store won’t disappoint. By far the best place for vegans for miles around.

Great value, tasty vegan options in the middle of nowhere - Wow - Edit
I say middle of nowhere as tongue in cheek.
Read moreSmiths Lake is a very nice area but a bit out of the way. After walking at Booti Booti National Park South of Forster we were looking for some options and stumbled on this 5km away from where we were.
Well worth the 5km drive I have to say.
Super accomodating staff, very keen to know that we were happy, good choices, I was very happy and very full to be honest.
Vegan items included Super Salad, Black Bean Burrito Bowl and a Black Bean Burrito , plain chips and sweet potato chips.
Excellent value.
We went back again a few weeks later, again great food, great staff, wish this was local to me. In chatting with them the secret ingredient is a vegan chef... that’ll do it, someone that knows what good food should be.

Finally labelled vegan options! - Edit
Trying to find vegan options in the Smiths Lake area is a little difficult, but thankfully the Good Food Store delivers - and with multiple options, giving you a choice. I had the sweet potato scallop burger which was inexpensive, delicious, and filling. Loved all the fresh ingredients on the burger too.
