Really happy to find that this gastropub has a vegan menu.
Read moreFor starter I had the mushrooms on crumpet which sounds weird but was very tasty. I also had the soup starter (yeah you can be greedy without feeling guilty when you’re vegan 🤟🏼)
My main was the Coconut Curry. Very tasty, lots of fire. Loved it.
The manageress was so polite and friendly too. Two of the ladies on our table were quite demanding to say the least and she handled it perfectly.
I’d go back.
Pros: Excellent Service, Nice ambience , Dedicated vegan menu 🌱

Great vegan menu - Edit
Be sure to ask for the vegan menu, which is one of the best I've come across in a traditional British gastropub. I've been here a few times in the past couple of years

There's currently about 5 different options for each course. I had the falafels, burger and and polenta cake which were all very nice.
If you plan on going at busy times be sure to book.
Pros: Excellent vegan menu, Great selection of drinks, cocktails
