Serves meat, vegan options available. An old English country pub that has a couple of vegan choices, including a chickpea burger. Open Mon-Fri 11:00-23:00, Sat-Sun 12:00-23:00.
Popped in for a pint and lunch and found a menu with plant options. Shared the veg platter. Was excellent. Would have liked to try some of the other options.
We weren’t hopeful of many vegan options when we parked the camper in the nearby campsite, but we were surprised to discover the very accommodating George Inn! The veggie and vegan options are clearly marked on the menu and we enjoyed the delicious locally-made bread with olive oil and balsamic vinegar, plus a delicious lentil and vegetable cottage pie (topped with sweet potato mash and with optional cheese for non-vegans).
