Tasty options, friendly service - Edit
I loved that they seasoned the Impossible burger. Fries were really good too. I will go back to try the ancient grains bowl or the Mediterranean salad with falafel. The hummus and olive tapenade with pita sounds like a good appetizer. They even allow dogs on the outdoor patio after 4pm.

Ok choices, beer better than food. - Edit
Very nice setting and bartender. On gorgeous golf/ski resort. Need car to get there. They have a few vegan choices, but nothing to write home about. Chili is best choice. However, we lived in the Pocono’s for 17 years and at least there’s choices. If you are skiing this is a good idea. Beers are locally made and 10 times better than Barley Creek, which tastes like there is soap in the taps. We had bolognese as well as chili. Barely any tomato. Too much beyond burger. Ask for more marinara.

Menu is being revamped - Edit
I was there in October and was told all the bread have eggs. I ended up with Mediterranean salad and they still put cheese in the dressing. I spoke with the manager and she was not sure how they made the happy cow app. Apparently the chef was in a bad mood when I came. She said she was revamping the menu for vegan options for the future but in the meantime everything pretty much appears vegetarian for options. You can have nachos without cheese if you want. I didn’t ask about the pasta with the impossible Bolognaise but another Pocono establishment with three options appearing on Happy Cow. Keeping my eyes open. I frequent the brewery down the road. They only offer vegan pizzas at their Easton Public Market location.

Vegan Options After Hiking - Edit
We stopped here with our dogs after a hike at the Delaware Water Gap. Our dogs were welcome on the outdoor patio and they even brought them water. We loved that! 🤩
Read moreFor a starter we had the hummus and olive tapenade. My husband loved it. For our entrees my husband had the Impossible burger and fries - he said it was good, although a tad bland. I ordered the stir fry, which was sauteed vegetables in a homemade stir fry sauce on top of rice noodles. It just wasn't my cup of tea, but I wouldn't say that it was bad -- just not for me.
Other vegan options are the vegetarian chili (which is vegan without the cheddar cheese), the loaded nachos with vegetarian chili (minus the cheese and sour cream), a mandarin salad, possibly the falafel burger, and the Impossible Bolognese without cheese.
We will definitely go back and try the Gem and Keystone again, but we'll get different food next time. We love the atmosphere, the view, that it's close to hiking, and that they welcome dogs. The staff was very nice and knowledgeable about veganism.
We visited in July 2021, and they were using an abbreviated menu due to staff shortage.
Pros: Vegan options, Close to great hiking, Dog friendly

Awesome place - Edit
I went here with a friend after hiking at the gap and thought the food was great. We got the hummus plate which was delicious and I got the falafel salad (I think it came with cheese but I just asked for none) but I asked the waitress to double check if the falafel had any dairy by chance and she was extremely friendly and found out for more quickly that it was dairy free. Loved the food. Definitely going back after every hike!

Various Options (: - Edit
The Gem and Keystone Brew Pub offers multiple vegetarian/vegan options such as chili, a black bean burger, a hummus plate, and many veggies. I tried the black bean burger. It was good, however I can't really justify spending $10 on a burger. The restaurant is beautiful and has very friendly staff. Would give a higher review if the food was not so expensive.
