Cute place, great food - Edit
The food was great. Got a breakfast with the lot and headed back the next day to try their toasties which were amazing. The vibe of the girls out the back having a laugh while cooking is so wholesome.

Great menu - Edit
After a bit of a frustrating time with the buses of Adelaide, we got here in time for lunch. I had a large soy flat white coffee while my partner had an oat hot chocolate. We both enjoyed our drinks. I felt really hungry but I think the toastie I ordered was too big for me! I ordered the pub grub toastie which I enjoyed and the gravy was really nice. The bread is thick which made it really filling. My partner had the gator burrito which he said was amazing.

Really nice café, great staff - Edit
It's so cool to see Adelaide is still a top destination for vegan eats after being away for a few years. This café is a great example. Everything is vegan and looks amazing. I had the gatorito, but my expectations were a little high and while it was yummy, it wasn't the best burrito I've had recently even. I came back the next day for the truffle beans and they were phenomenal. I'd come back for this any time. They also have a lot of delicious looking pastries, and their coffee is really nice. Absolutely worth a visit if you're nearby

What a great surprise this was to stumble across Gator Club. The choices of great breakfast were too many. Fantastic food, friendly service and an overall winner. The Truffle Beans was to die for. Highly recommend.

Fantastic food - Edit
Loved coming here on my trip to Adelaide, and not one to be missed for vegan food. The hash brown bruschetta was delicious and the pastries were amazing. As others have said it is on the pricier side, but not so different than Melbourne prices so it didn't affect me. I think those pasties would fool an omni and I would have loved to try more of the menu. The toastie was also really nice and not too bad a price at $15.

Good range but overpriced - Edit
The vibe of the cafe is cute and stylised. I did find though, that the staff were a bit abrupt. Also, almost $40 for a coffee, a toastie and pastry was way overpriced. I know people rave about the Mac Papi but it wasn't a $20 sandwich for me.

Superb breakfast - Edit
We made a special trip here for breakfast and got here while it was still quiet. It was hard deciding what to order and my FOMO was kicking in, as I knew I couldn't do both a substantial breakfast and a croissant. My companion went for the beans and I typically chose the big breakfast, allowing me to sample a few things at once. I told myself I'd come back for a ham and cheese croissant another day. To start I ordered a large oat flattie and it was huge and very good. I noticed they also had hemp milk as an option, which I don't often see, so I gave it a go with coffee #2 later on, but didn't like it as much as oat milk. Both the breakfasts were beautifully executed and delicious, with thickly cut bread and sharp knives provided to cut it with. All components were very good, but standouts/points of interest for me were the thick dark (and delicious) hash brown in the big brekky and the turmeric kraut and ricotta that gave the beans body and sharpness. I really do plan to come back and try those croissants.

We had a world-class birthday breakfast feast that wowed the whole family (including the omnivores). The tofu scramble, the almond croissant, and banana bread were all hits.

Toastie heaven!! - Edit
We arrived at 2:10pm in fairly awful weather and even though their kitchen actually closes at 2pm they were very kind and said we could still get some lunch, so want to start this review with a big THANK YOU. Mum and I had toasties (the htc and fun guys) and Dad had a croissant with "ham" and nozarella. Absolutely DELICIOUS and Dad was super impressed with the espresso too. I had the hot chocolate with their signature non-dairy milk blend which was delicious, not super overpowering like some hot chocolate. Couldn't recommend this place highly enough!

I dropped in for a quick lunch. The ‘Fun Guy’ toastie was delicious! The raspberry brownie and sencha tea were a fine way to finish. The menu isn’t extensive, but it looks like everything is good.

Always loved Later Gator van, so access to a dedicated cafe is an absolute win for me. Everything Chloe does is a standout 12/10. The sweet treats, the coffees, the sandwiches. I travel across town to get the fun guy sandwich. GF options also available!

Flavour town!! - Edit
Loved the food from the van - now I can come to the clubhouse! So far I have been here once and had the tofu scramble. Oh lord. If it was my last meal, I'd die happy. Layers of flavour, lots of individual elements to the dish that I appreciated. 3 different bread options. Crunchy flavour bomb almonds. Dill in a creamy soft scramble. Mushroom pate. Micro greens. Thai basil. Perfect use of the fennel chilli oil around the plate where I could add it as I went. God damn! I felt the price ($22) was good for the serving. Really good location with good visibility and parking in a nice part of town. (Slight sigh about non vegan items in the retail section. If I didn't mention it I wouldn't to be true to my vegan heart. I know people have different views about vintage things) There is some funky pottery by local artisans and other cool things. Dessert case was loaded, but didn't try any this time. The cookies are always epic. The vintage paintings with added alligators made me smile, so did the door handle and the old school metal chairs.
