Nice fast food - Edit
But I was expecting more from the comments. I took a vegan mix with onion rings, vegan mayonnaise and relish. The vegetables inside the pita were a bit too cooked, I did not like it that much. The falafels and the rice leaves were hovewer nice. The sauces were good and the onion rings were ok. Price is good.

Best place to get late night food - Edit
Always go here after a night out and even if you’re up late and want takeaway it’s great for vegans. They have their own vegan menu, including a spicy bean burger, butter beans in pitta and tomato sauce, falafel vegan nuggets and vegan cheesy chips! Its quickly prepared too. More seats upstairs if it’s early in the day but if it’s late at night you probably won’t get a seat.

Hummus on chips - Edit
See title. Omnivores and vegans, never had it? Get it. It seems so wrong but it tastes so right.

the best drunk food in all of cambs - Edit
the best chips,, wow! very affordable and has such a good atmosphere. the upstairs seating is so cute. i've tried both the dolma (stuffed vine leaves) and falafel kebabs and both were great - i'd for sure recommend the dolma!! be very explicit about your veganism when ordering if you're worried about it, i've never had any problems though!
Read moreplus,, the staff always give me extra pickled green chillies when i ask for them - for that alone i will forever love this place.

The go-to for easy food in Cambridge - Edit
Really great, filling meals in the centre of Cambridge. I usually take away as the seating area upstairs isn’t great, but sitting outside Kings College with a pita and chips is lovely. I’m a regular visitor at 3am as well as more socially acceptable dinner times!

Really good Falafel - Edit
I went here after work one day for something quick and simple. I ordered the small falafel with salad. There was seating upstairs and although it was cosy it was really fine. The small was actually really big and the salad offering was really fantastic and varied, had all the traditional kebab shop salad style things including pickled chilies which were really yummy.

Cons: Can get full, Don't know if cooked in separate area

Surprisingly good - Edit
This place is a bit of an institution in Cambridge. Situated at the heart of the old town, folklore has it that the university tried to close it down but the students managed to get them to overturn their decision. Surrounded by high profit-margin chains and exclusive boutiques, I could believe it.
Read moreYou can actually get *good* chips for less than two quid, which is a small miracle in itself.
They will do you a chip butty (pita filled with chips and a good dollop of hummus on top) for not much more.
It must be the student influence, but they do mention "vegan options" on the chalk board outside, and they do at least appear to know what a vegan is, which I'm always so grateful for!
If you want to up the ante, you could go for the falafel or apparently the veggie burger is vegan (not 100% confirmed that yet though!) they have a rough and ready seating area upstairs and you can even get a sneaky glass of wine to go with your feast.
Yep, they still predominantly serve animals, but, for Cambridge, this ain't too bad.

Pros: know what a vegan is, mention "vegan options", cheaper than most in Cambridge
