Delicious and generous portions! - Edit
They serve a fixed banana leaf set but you can choose full/half portions of rice and also between parboiled and white rice. You can also ask them to top up your banana leaf if you want more. The food is delicious and portions are generous. Love the outdoor setting with chickens running around.

Good food and lots of it! - Edit
Enjoyed our food here. The range on our plate, each distinct flavours, was very good. We loved the owners - so welcoming and friendly. It was close to where we were staying so also very convenient for us. Excellent value for money!

Healthy Banana Leaf Rice - Edit
This is my kind of banana leaf rice as it's healthier than most stalls.
Read moreOn their Facebook page they've indicated "Food served here is of a home-cooked standard with no additives, coloring and recycled oil administered. You are assured of fresh food.”
Food was delicious and way less oily then most places.
You can even have masala tea without milk if you're vegan and I was told that the tea is made from scratch with whole spices and not from powder in a sachet.
The menu changes daily so do check their Facebook page to see what the menu is for the day.
I also double-checked to make sure they don't use ghee or milk or yoghurt.
When I asked on Facebook whether the food is vegan-friendly, the reply was "Yes vegan friendly except special rice."
Lots of parking space.
It's in an open air setting and it was raining on the day we went there but it was still worth battling the rain. (Got bitten by some mosquitoes though, but hey, it's a natural setting:)
I would definitely go back again to try out the other dishes for the other days when I'm visiting Penang.
Pros: Homecooked style, healthier dishes, Delicious food, Outdoor setting, next to nature

Delicious set lunch - Edit
Very nice Indian food. Specify if you are vegan, most of their food is but they use ghee in somethings. The staff were very friendly, we chatted with one of the owners after our meal (second meal here in 3 days) he was a lovely guy who is also vegan and a former kickboxing champion! Very cool guy.
