Wonderful food and wine in a chilled friendly space - Edit
I really could not recommend this place enough. The friendly owner Tom brings a real commitment to community, sustainability and ethics in everything he is trying to do here, the mostly vegetarian and vegan organic food is divine, the organic wines truly exceptional and the atmosphere, above all, is incredibly warm, relaxed and friendly.

However, most of the food here is vegetarian and vegan, and all the food, wine and coffee is organic and sustainable, sourced from small local producers where possible and always ethically sourced.
The room itself is an intimate warm space with shelves of interesting books and a huge vinyl collection, from which Tom selects tracks to play that will delight and relax you, but it is really his dedication to quality and sustainability and his open, warm and genuine nature that set the tone for what makes this place so special. Tom relates to you as a human being and somehow creates a convivial space where everybody is made to feel so welcome and included and where the best of conversations can happen.
The commitment to sustainability and ethics runs through the delicious organic grazing boards with local cheeses, fruits, nuts and dips, the tapas offerings and large collection of organic and biodynamic wines from small producers chosen individually by Tom – such as a lovely white wine we enjoyed from the Basque region of Spain. If you ask him to suggest a wine for you he’ll do so with great care and let you try it first to make sure you like it.
We tried four tapas dishes and each were very generous portions and utterly divine. The mushroom and truffle salt dish had different kinds and textures of mushrooms in a delicious broth with real depth of umami flavour that had us mopping up the very last drop with bread; the Aubergenie Crunch was aubergine prepared a number of different ways such as roasted and smoked and a deliciously unctuous glossy puree, and was an exceptional dish. The organic bio pepper strips with roasted peppers, Dozio’s of Mayo garlic and black pepper soft cheese, and organic balsamic reduction was also memorable.
But most of all it is the atmosphere of this place that is so wonderful - really chilled, welcoming and warm - a place where you are not just another customer - and that is down to the wonderful Tom.

Hi Joey, thanks heaps for your review. I only use the best ingredients I can get, as local, natural / organic as possible and this is reflected in the price, unfortunately the west is so accustomed to agricultural subsidies and cheap farming practices that the true value of food isn't reflected. Considering what it costs me, the food I serve is actually good value. Thanks

Great Vegan Charcuterie - Edit
Small restaurant with a cozy, friendly atmosphere. We split the vegan charcuterie board for two which was delicious! There were also several other vegan dishes on the menu and all of the wine listings are organic and vegan! They are also a palm oil free restaurant!

Tantalising tapas - Edit
We stumbled upon this place down a quiet ally. Long, thin restaurant and wine bar with chill out music. We shared everything vegan with bread. All very delicious and creative tapas. A bit oily, as you’d expect, so definitely need the bread. Extensive wine menu. Lots of eco ethics - look up the website- very interesting project. One of our most tasty and interesting meals - linger for a real experience. Chatty staff and customers. Only five or six tables.
