Makes sandwiches as well as offering a meal-of-the-day, kombucha & kefir, seitan biltong, coconut yogurt, among other items. There are also cruelty-free body products for sale like shampoo, toothpaste, deodorant, and reusable glass straws. Open Mon-Sat 10:00am-5:30pm, Sun 10:00am-4:30pm. Closed Sun.

I chose the homemade patty- mushroom, lentil and beetroot and as for the toppings, the server recommended the creamy mushroom. I am a HUGE mushroom fan and mushrooms in cashew cream sauce was so tasty!! Polished it off in no time!😋👍
I decided to grab some sweets for afters and for the airport.
The food was freshly prepared, good portions and received friendly service . Definitely recommend coming here for delicious, filling vegan comfort food!

Happy cow forces a 2 star review. If I could give zero stars, I would. I've been vegan for 20 years and have traveled with world enjoying vegan food from the most lofty of 5 star restaurants to the most humble street food sold out of a cart in the road in a developing country - which is usually the best. My experience with this place in JNB on a 10 day business trip was repeatedly appalling, I tried to give them more than once chance and it was ludicrous. The first time I ordered I got these rubbery strings of red dyed fake meat in a bun with some lumpy white puss looking sauce which was supposed to be a cheese steak. There was no cheese. Took two bites, gagged, threw it away. The mac and cheese was filled with chemical tasting hard red plastic like bits that were supposed to be fake bacon and it was dry like sand. The second time I ordered through uber eats, got mac and cheese without the fake bacon and requested an extra side of cheese sauce, was happy to pay for it. Also got the jalapeno burger asked for a regular bun instead of seeded, and extra chiptole sauce. ordered a coke. The order came with no coke and no sauces, the burger had nothing on it but a beyond patty and a lot of canned jalapeno slices. No lettuce, no sauce no nothing. I asked Uber for that refund for just the coke that never came and threw away the horrid burger. They gave no extra sauce as ordered for the mac and cheese so it was dry as sand again, inedible.

I never would have posted one until that arrogant owner had the gall to castrate me for asking for a refund on a drink they never sent me. I would stay away from this place there are others you can enjoy without the dry garbage food and even worse attitude. This uber order was 635 rand. You get a kick right up your bum if you don't get the drink, you are supposed to grin and bear it. This place is not worth the time or money.
The owner attacks anyone who posts a negative review, which is a testament to his man-child psyche. Cue abusive retort from owner in 3, 2, 1 ---

This place is really phenomenal. The food is excellent and I have introduced many people to plant based food through them. The service is great and the staff are attentive. The poke bowl and the Beyond burger is hands down the best for me. The prices are great and you can even stock up on vegan goodies to snack on later.

Lovely little place in a somewhat odd place. The staff is incredibly friendly. We had the beyond burger. Which is never a disappointment. They serve it with melted cheese and mayo. The cheese was pretty good too. Good coffee. The cafe sells some vegan products too, like biltong, kumchi and vegan snickers. Highly recommend this place!

Had been wanting to go to The Fussy Vegan as I've heard wonders about it and was NOT disappointed at all. I had one of the best lasagnas ever, the cashew sauce was so warm and creamy, perfect for the cold, windy day it was that day. My friend also loved her Mac & Cheese. The service is also very good, just a pity it's a small place, but indeed I left satisfied and happy that TFV met my (very high) expectations. I also think the prices are very reasonable keeping the portions' sizes in mind. Will definitely go back.

This place is worth the drive if you're on the other side of town, seriously. The food is always superb and there are plenty of choices whether you want to indulge (burritos, burgers, cheese steak) or you want to play it healthier.

Every time I've been to Fussy Vegan I've been super duper impressed with their food and options. Every item I've tried on the menu is SO divine, and all my friends are converts. The owner, Werner, and his manager, David, are also so friendly and happy to see us. It's always a wonderful experience going there. HIGHLY recommend popping in.

So glad that I found this little place. Please be aware that it is still open even though the garage is being renovated. You just have to go around to the parking at the back by the containers and car wash. So good to find convenient vegan takeout that is not a salad! I tried to pulled oyster sandwich and it was so good! Also sell blocks of vegan cheese as opposed to slices. Service was prompt and friendly. Although the place is small, I can highly recommend it.

This place is located within the garage vicinity. I am really impressed with this little gem of a place. A variety of yummy takeaway or sit down foods including grocery items like vegan butter, salami, biltong, pepperoni, bacon, cheeses, yoghurts and even cruelty free beauty products like shampoo, body wash etc. Their tofu sandwich is yum! And I like the spicy biltong too :)
