Disappointing vegan food - Edit

We took an old friend to dinner having been impressed by the vegan menu which we saw online. The food didn't match up well with the descriptions - the textures were soggy and the whole effect was not great. The restaurant has a nice ambience and portions are a good size.

Extensive vegan menu - Edit

Gastropub with a separate, quite extensive vegan menu. We had the burger and the sundried tomato & almond bake. Both dishes tasted good, but the portions were a bit on the small side, especially given the price. Unfortunately, we also had to wait about 50 minutes before our food arrived.

For the range of options on the menu and for the flavours I would like to give this place 4 stars, but for now I'm afraid I can't give more than 3*. Having to wait for so long and then getting a plate of food that doesn't quite fill you up simply leaves one somewhat disappointed.
