Serves meat, vegan options available. A brewery bar with all of its own brand of beers being vegan. Has a wood fired pizzeria named Pompeii Pizza, which offers a vegan base & sauce and offers vegan cheese, in addition to plenty of veggies as toppings. Best to book a table or go on a quiet night. Often events like board game nights are hosted and they do a deal with a pint & pizza. Live music too.

My favourite pizza in Cork - Edit
I love the pizza is Franciscan Well. I always get a pizza with olives, mushroom and vegan cheese. It is so good! Everything is really fresh, you can customise your pizza and the staff is also super friendly.

I wish I read the reviews here more carefully before trying it, there were so many positive reviews but I agree with the review in August 2023, why would you not put tomato sauce on pizza? Pizza was burnt and unappetizing, with no flavouring.

Why wouldn't you put tomato on pizza?! - Edit
The dough here is great and I really liked the bbq jackfruit but I don't understand why you would miss out the tomato. The pizza lacked flavour and they had ran out of any vegan dips. Was really disappointed. I'm sure it wouldn't have been nice with tomato sauce.

3 vegan pizzas on the menu, plus a special the night I was there. I was set on the vegan margherita, but then I saw the vegan special bruschetta pizza. So good! My partner had the vegan jackfruit which was also delicious. They were out of vegan garlic aioli, which was a bummer. Highly recommend!

The brewery has a great place at the back for drinking and ordering pizza. Vegan pizzas at the time were Margarita, Marinara and Vegan Jack Fruit, but you can make your own by choosing the toppings. I had the jack fruit pizza and it was really nice, the vegan cheese is pretty good. Great place for having a pizza with a hazy beer during a summer afternoon.

Homemade Vegan Mozz!! - Edit
The homemade vegan chz on this pizza was so delicious! They have a couple vegan pizzas listed, including a bbq jackfruit, or you can build your own. I added some extra veggies on the margarita and it was so good. Really cool place!

One of the few large beer gardens in Cork. Vegan pizza is absolutely delicious and the waiter told me their mozzarella is actually made in house! Nice pizza crust as you would expect from a woodfired pizza oven.

I've been coming here for years just for the beer, but the addition of the vegan pizza is a real draw. Franciscan well beer is, in my opinion, the best craft beer in cork. The pizza is cooked in a fired oven and is very high quality. The pizza is a nice snack for 2 people, a meal for one. We've found the service to be hit or miss--one experience was so bad I almost never came back again (the cook was rude and rolled their eyes at our vegan order).

The Fran well serve pizza made in an oven out the back, by Pompeii pizza. The base and sauce are vegan and they have recently introduced a vegan cheese. I prefer it without the cheese and to just add some chilli oil. This is my favourite place for pizza, the atmosphere is great and they have plenty of vegan beers too!
