Dough is great, but I wish there were more speciality pizzas - Edit
The silver fern is vegan by default and vegan cheese can be added to it. Pretty tasty overall and the dough was great! I'd have liked for them to have a few more speciality vegan pizzas. There was the option to make my own, but most times I like trying what other people think is good.

There is a vegan speciality flatbread pizza called the Silver Fern. It might sound good to others, but I don't like mushrooms, so I did a create your own. You can add many toppings and make it 100% vegan.

Very busy restaurant but so is all of TC. I got the creative and delicious vegan silver fern pizza without mushrooms as well as a salad. My food was awesome and I would gladly visit again.

I'd rate 5 stars if possible. They have one vegan pizza, The Silver Fern, that's absolutely wild. I haven't seen another pizza that's so insanely piled with delicious veggies and the gooey cheddar they use is very tasty. I think you can build your own pizza, as well, but they've done a great job there.

I would give this place 5 stars if the app would allow me to. We love The Filling Station. Great beer, good food and a nice environment to hang out. We usually get the vegan pizza (Silver Fern) but have also tried other pizzas and substituted the cheese for their vegan cheese option. Would recommend!

Fantastic spot with a fun atmosphere. Has 1 vegan pizza on the menu and a build-your-own with vegan cheese (cheddar Daiya) and lots of fun and unusual toppings. The beer was great as well.

there is 1 vegan pizza on the menu, and it's excellent. BUT... they will turn any pizza vegan for you, and ask you if you would like to sub for the meat and cheese your pulling off. Great vegan food, and the best service in TC.

We asked the staff about whether cheeses had rennet. They went through all the packages and weren't able to tell (just "enzymes" were listed). The manager came out to speak with us and said he also called the supplier, because we were not the first to ask about this. We ordered the vegan pizza and a beer sampler and really enjoyed both. The outdoor seating with a view of the lake was also great.

We recently enjoyed dinner at The Filling Station while in Traverse City. Perched on one of the high tables with two other couples, we enjoyed the craft beers (my favourite one was the Bavarian wheat beer, which was light and refreshing) and pizza. Nice to see a vegan flat bread on the menu. It was real tasty and enough for two along with a salad. They were happy to do a vegan vinaigrette on the side for us.
