Extremely helpful waiters - Edit
There is no completely vegan breakfast option on the menu, but the waiters are extremely helpful and to veganize your meal is no problem. It was super tasty.

Good place for an Irish breakfast - Edit
We wanted to have a typical Irish breakfast and this place was perfect. We were very surprised by the combination of tea with sausages, mushrooms and beans, but it was very interesting. We also ordered a Vegan roll to go, which was more of a pastry type, and we also liked it. Very friendly staff and very well-kept place. Highly recommended.

No options for vegans...? - Edit
We came here when it was pouring outside and needed a quick bite to eat, as we were with a bus tour and the restaurant happens to be in a convenient spot. Unfortunately could not find a single vegan option on their menu! The vegan burger seems to no longer be available and their "plant-based" salad comes with a dressing that contains honey - which is also clearly stated on their menu! Staff seems to have very limited understanding of what plant-based or vegan means.

Very limited vegan options, staff also didn't seem knowledgeable about ingredients in some items that were vegetarian and when pressed, I found out that they're not vegan. I had the potato lentil cakes and they were good but nothing to write home about.

Stepped in for breakfast with a mixed-diet group, and all of us were satisfied. There were only three vegan options, but it did the trick. Nice vibes, friendly service, good value.

Read moreThey don't have many options available but there's also a veggie burger. My husband ordered one (you can change the meat burger for a veggie one) and he really liked it. Also, the chips and side salads (when you order the vegan dish it comes with a delicious vegan dressing) are quite good too.
There're not many options in Kilkenny, so this is a good choice.
Pros: some optiones available, friendly staff - willing to help, opens on Sundays!

Just get the potato lentil cakes! You must! vegan and gf. A few vegan options but the potato cakes are amazing. our friend had the veggie burger and loved it!! Not many vegan options in Kilkenny so this is a must see stop!
