Vegan risotto. - Edit
Lovely setting over looking river Teifi. Friendly staff. Choices of vegan burger or summer risotto. Risotto was really good. A few vegan desserts, but was too full up to try them.

3 Vegan main meal options - Edit
There were 3 vegan main meal options, I had a Chestnut Mushroom Wellington which was absolutely delicious. The vegan burger was good (teenage verdict, not prone to enthusiasm) and we didn't try the spicy dahl.

Good Sunday Lunch option - Edit
Not much vegan on the menu, but after reading another review here, we went for the Mushroom Wellington Sunday lunch, which was really good. There were a couple of other options - a curry and a burger and the brownie desert can come with vegan ice cream - which we had 😀

Only one vegan ‘choice’ - Edit
Booked here as listed on Happy Cow and disappointed to find only one vegan main meal option which wasn’t even vegan specific, just veggie option removing the cheese and coleslaw. Was absolutely delicious though, great views and the drinks menu specified which were suitable for vegans so still given three stars for these qualities.

Good find but make sure to book ahead! - Edit
No longer a separate vegan menu, but the new menu had a few different vegan options. I specified I was vegan and ordered the stuffed olive starter and the risotto. Olives came without any breading so maybe they mixed up GF and vegan as menu says it was all vegan. It was good anyway and risotto was delicious. Tried to go back a second time but was fully booked!

Tasty vegan food on the patio - Edit
We were too busy digging into our delicious and chewy vegan nut loaf, perfectly dressed roasted veggies, lentil & chutney burger and salad to take any pictures of our food. But everything was outstanding. We enjoyed sitting outside on the patio and admiring the view of the lake and watching kayakers do their thing while having drinks (not sure if the drinks were vegan). Loved the separate vegan menu. We will be back!
