Perfect Food- very impressed - Edit
Not to be missed! Cute little place with a very home-grown feel and surprisingly versatile menu. I guess I’d call it comfort food but options range from grain bowls to burgers to entrees with various international inspirations. I got the mushroom tacos and they were awesome-perfect texture, flavor- nothing was greasy. My non-vegan partner and I agreed that the food felt like it was made with love and we wish this was in Philly where we live! Vegan cake, too, btw!

Incredible - Edit
In a part of western PA where there are just not many vegan options at restaurants, this place is a surprising treasure. There are several diverse vegan menu options, with many more substitutions listed, and the staff is happy to suggest additional alternatives. And the folks in the kitchen are seriously skilled- I recommend the oyster mushroom tacos!

Reservation recommended on weekends - Edit
This place was hopping when we stopped in on a Friday night. We were greeted, but when we responded that we did not have a reservation the guy let us know he was annoyed, sat us, and then ignored us. About 15 minutes in, a younger guy came over to take care of us. He was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. It did over an hour to get our food after ordering, so plan accordingly on a busy night. I can tell you that it's worth the wait. I got the nori wrapped tofu and I had to double check to be sure it wasn't salmon! It was absolutely sublime and while I happily paid $15, in a metro area that dish could easily have sold for twice as much. This place is something special.

Great little place! - Edit
This has been a true find! The chef continually tweaks the menu, always using fresh, seasonal ingredients wherever possible. There are vegan options throughout the menu. Sadly, however, the options end with dessert. This was an ice cream place, and there are many creative options for ice cream desserts. Now they must morph into non-dairy ice cream desserts! There are delicious options for carnivores and non-vegans as well. The decor is kitschy and cute. There is an outside area for dining as well. We are always up for a trip to Fat Squirrel!

Very pleasant surprise! - Edit
Wonderful little place along rte 30 which has very few vegan options! I had a tofu grain bowl and my husband had the falafel sandwich. The staff was knowledgeable about the ingredients in the dishes. Tofu can be added to any salad or bowl as a protein. Food was delicious and very reasonably priced!
