Good as always - Edit
Dined here many times over the years. They have a separate vegan menu which is really good. Having said that, I have tried everything on it, so personally I would like to see them change it up a bit.

Fab Italian with great vegan options - Edit
We went to The Fat Italian in Ormskirk for my birthday (on a Monday night) and loved it! Firstly, the restaurant has a great selection of vegan dishes (starters, mains, and desserts). Secondly, the food arrived in good time and most importantly tasted amazing. On top of that, the service was very good and the ambience nice.

A must visit restaurant - Edit
I find Italian restaurants who cater for vegans a real challenge. Tonight we had the best experience- dedicated menu, gorgeous restaurant with fantastic staff. Such a brilliant dining environment. My husband had the spicy pizza and said it was the best pizza he has ever had, and I had the basil pine nut penne which was so tasty and well put together. We will definitely be back, and probably with friends!

Great for vegans! - Edit
Since Source closed down, Ormskirk has been a vegan desert. However, since the Fat Italian launched its vegan menu earlier in 2018 there is now plenty choice for vegan diners. Extensive selection of starters and mains, plus a few vegan puddings. The vegan cheese garlic bread is soooooo good (just how I remeber it) and I am loving the pasta dishes... really fresh an tasty. Great bar and ambience too, with excellent service.
