Rates itself as vegan friendly

Dinner had one vegan option on the menu, and no starters unless you fancied soups or bread and olives. Didn’t fancy another risotto so I enquired as to what else they had as they state themselves as vegan friendly? They produced the lunch menu for me which had another option of an eggplant, zucchini and tomato linguine.. I went for this and was thoroughly dissatisfied. The taste was of tinned tomatoes, I couldn’t taste any individual flavours and the linguine was over cooked and tasted like mush. Also, it came with a pot of non vegan Parmesan… great attention to detail.
Great for meat eaters apparently

Pros: Good atmosphere ,

Cons: Limited options for vegans , Expensive , Average food

Tasty food and great pub!

This is a gorgeous pub that’s well looked after, with a great feel inside. The vegan menu is well thought out and the food was delicious! I had a butternut, lemon and sage risotto and then pineapple fritters for dessert. I can’t fault any of it. I’d go back there again anytime! Highly recommended.

Pros: Great wallpaper in the ladies'
