Decent - Edit
Good spot for snacks and to replenish inventory of things that will be hard to find (like GF good bread, papaya sulfite free chunks, vegan marshmallows, melk chocante, etc.)

Great store - Edit
Older lady was so very helpful and kind! Younger gal with curly hair has some control issues and doesn’t mind belittling or chastising if you do something she deems as wrong (like place an item or 2 on the counter for too long). Otherwise an awesome experience.
Read morePros: Great variety of vegan items, Very helpful older lady, Awesome fair trade non food items.
Cons: Curly needs a hobby.

A huge help for vegan locals - Edit
We go here all the time for hard-to-find ingredients for vegan and healthy cooking. I don't have to order as much stuff online as I used to now that I found this place :) Our most-bought items include the frozen ezekial breads and tortillas, date sugar, tofu, miso, and organic produce. They also have earth balance, veganaise, daiya cheese, tempeh, soy dogs and coconut milk ice cream. Some of these things you simply can't find anywhere else in town. They also have harder to find whole grains and bulk spices and seeds and just a ton of other random organic food. I would definitely recommend coming in and checking it out if you're a local looking for vegan or otherwise unusual ingredients.

Granola Hippie General Store :-) - Edit
This store had everything we could ever want! The front of the store sells fair-trade goods and the back of the store is all health food. They had a huge tea selection and a lot of dried fruits at good prices. Tons of vitamins and supplements and they even had sale items! Some produce, frozen foods and refrigerated foods (including soy milk, earth balance etc.) and quite a bit of local foods. We would definitely go back to this store which is right downtown. We left with groceries and a cute throw rug too!
