As an ex shop casual I can confirm that bullying is rife here. Casual staff are not treated with respect and shifts are withheld as a form of control. I was bullied as a result of a health condition I was struggling with and simply because it is common practice here. I was also accused of stealing. This was many years ago but the same staff are still around and my experiences have affected my life going forward. Just be wary of the fluffy facade and be wary of working here as a casual!
