Thirdly I loved the abundance of vegan options on the menu. The owner's sister and brother in law are vegan.
The food was great! We loved the duchess so much we booked for the next day too. The cocktails were fun too.
If I could I would have given 5 stars. Recommend booking a table.
Pros: So many delicious vegan options , Great vibe and amazing decor, The staff we friendly and brilliant.
Cons: No cons, it was great.

Beautiful pub with great atmosphere and loads of vegan options. We stopped in for some banana blossom fish and chips. The portion was huge, the banana blossom was delicious (especially the batter) and the chips were lush. We ate it so quickly we forgot to get a picture! Would love to have a mushy pea option with it but just so nice to have so many vegan options in a pub in Kirkcaldy.

Uniquely decorated restaurant for the area, a nice addition to Kirkcaldy. The Banana Blossom was tasty and a good amount of options, although the Vegan meals are a bit pricey.

Even with a limited menu just now there is a good number of Vegan options, potato skins with vegan mayo and jackfruit balti were great. Special mention for the ficky foffee pudding with salted caramel ice cream.. that was incredible!!

Working away from home a lot i rely on happy cow to find a good meal. Found the duchess and was pleasantly surprised by the options and my vegetarian colleague was happy to eat here too. I had the black bean jambalaya which was really nice and my colleague had the moving mountains burger.

Also a plus the vegan section was on the main menu so you didn’t need to ask for a separate menu.
If I’m in Kirkcaldy again I would go back.
