Serves meat, vegan options available. Country pub located near Clwydian Range. Makes adaptations to the nut roast and serves it with a tomato and herb sauce, fresh veg and new potatoes. Sorbet and fresh fruit salad available for dessert. On request will prepare a tomato bean cassoulet. Vegans should call ahead. Open Mon-Fri 17:00-21:00, Sat 13:00-21:00, Sun 13:00-20:00.

Better than expected! - Edit
A much-needed break on a long journey, we didn't expect this pub to have vegan options, but the staff were ready to help and there were actually a few things we could eat. A vegetarian would have loads of choice.

Delicious vegan Sunday lunch - Edit
Nut roast with roast tomatoes etc. was delicious and beautifully presented.
Read moreNot a wide range of vegan options - though lots of vegetarian specials - but a great Sunday lunch option near Moel Famau and the Clwydian range. Staff very friendly and children's meals of good quality too.
For top points soya milk and vegan puds would be great but that's a quibble.

Delicious Nut Roast - Edit
Make a lovely vegan Nut Roast. Also had a delicious vegan curry there in the past. Impressive vegan food for a quaint little country pub with a relatively small menu!
