lush menu and lovely owner! - Edit
My whole family of meat-eaters (beside myself) left here feeling thoroughly satisfied and very cheery. We had been the only ones in the restaurant and Esther was a cracking host all night long. We live all over the country and rarely get to come together - so this night out was very special and not once did we feel as though we were overstaying our welcome.

Lovely Atmosphere, Delicious Food - Edit
Well worth a visit,m. The owner is vegan and very friendly. The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere and the food was delicious. There were limited options on the lunchtime menu but that didn’t matter as they all sounded tasty. Had the nachos and chips which were delicious. For dessert we had crannachan which was amazing. We’ll definitely visit again.

Best Tacos Ever - Edit
Quite probably the best tacos I’ve eaten. In all the world. Bar none. A really lucky find. I’d have travelled far simply to try them. The rest of the menu also looks amazing. A must visit for anyone from far and wide.

I visited The Dragonfly for my birthday with family and was not disappointed - it's so good to have a vegan restaurant in the area and the food and service was lovely. I had the burger which was delicious. Very friendly staff, highly recommended.

Super delicious food! Highly recommended! - Edit
A great find this place - well worth the trip to it. Lovely walk nearby along shore road as well (recommended to us by the owner at the end of our meal). Service is friendly and nice to chat. Menus change monthly. This place doesn't say on the menu "vegan" whatever - the idea is not to put off the masses in the area who might not eat vegetarian / vegan, but that vegans can ask and the owner will enthusiastically say how she is vegan and explain the menu! We ate a lunch here of soup and humous platter. The chilli / cheese scone that came with the soup was a highlight! We enjoyed our meal so much we booked to come back again the following day for evening meal. During the lunch visit, they were a member of staff down so service was slightly slow, but made up for with a super friendly approach and a free coffee and the great food was worth waiting for! During the evening visit we tried the lasagne which was fantastic, we both had a great, freshly cooked evening meal and left feeling nice and full!

Great find - Edit
Had lunch here. Great to find a vegetarian mostly vegan restaurant in an area sparse of such places. Owner very friendly. Lovely light lunch. Excellent value for money. I had soup and flatbread for less than £5. Mrs M had falafel with two dips and side salad, again less than £5. Followed by delicious banana bread.

Delicious - Edit
Enjoyed a lunch here, been meaning to visit for ages. Vegetarian relative had the vegan quiche and said 'it were bloody lovely'! And that's from someone who doesn't like courgettes and just ate courgettes! Presentation 10/10. Service great too, friendly and helpful. Great salads, and pleasantly full without that over-stuffed feeling. Lovely chocolate brownie.

Amazing food, lovely people and beautiful surroundings - Edit
Just stayed here on retreat and couldn't be happier with the service, the food, the accommodation and the welcome. Everything cooked from scratch and delicious, with incredible attention to detail, salads garnished with edible flowers, lovely specials and amazing cake. Esther has done an incredible job turning this place into a vegan friendly haven in this understated corner of Scotland. I can't wait to come back.
