Meat in vegan pie - Edit
Had their vegan curry pie a couple of times and it has been nice, however I bought one today and it had meat in. I had already left Wanaka so couldn't go back to show them but there was some mince at the bottom of the pie. Luckily I had cut it in half so didn't eat any (I always do this when you can't see the fillings of things). Was probably an honest mistake with a mix up of the fillings but more care is required, would not go back.

Vegan pie is balanced - Edit
Grabbed their vegan curry pie for the road. Can see why it won an award - it actually balances sweet and savory very well. Could probably skip other breakfast spots in town and just go with this.

There was only one vegan option when I went which was the vegan curry pie. I was tasty and the price is fair. Great if you want a quick vegan snack.
