Too good tacos - Edit
Not gonna lie yall, those jackfruit chicken tacos had me FOOLED! So tasty with a nice little kick. My friend got the Korean bbq taco and gives it a 5/5, the just egg one was also very tasty and zesty.

Probably best just for beverages - Edit
We went here for brunch one morning. Good place for their coffee and beverage menu. But, their food was disappointing. We ordered three tacos to split and sample - the JustEgg/potato, Korean BBQ, and Jackfruit chik'n. I love me some onions. But, the chik'n and egg/potato one had so much raw onion on them that I couldn't really taste anything else. The all were very small for the price. Tried the Moon tonic which was really tasty.

Sinfully good cinnamon roll - Edit
The inside of this cafe is charming and beautiful. The menu is a bit sparse, mainly tacos. But the cinnamon rolls steal the show. Light flakey, rich, and decadent.

Great little coffee shop and cafe - Edit
Nice little corner cafe shop off of Emancipation. Unique lattes with plant based milks available. Vegan tacos were tasty, in particular the potato quinoa taco. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating around back. Parking is limited and not well marked - hopefully the signage and amount of spaces improve in the future.

Great coffee house - Edit
Recently had a light lunch and drinks here. They had several types of vegan tacos on offer for lunch, as well as some desserts. I had a taco, a coconut/ginger soda, and a matcha latte. I liked everything I ordered. The place has a nice chill vibe and is primarily a coffee house. There’s also a fairly large covered outside area.

Good presentation but mediocre taste - Edit
Had artisan and gogi sandwiches. Artisan is too sour(tomato/artichoke), gogi is decent, but the combination of mock meat and other ingredients just don't go well.

I feel homesick for this place despite only having been there a few times. - Edit
I have been to Houston twice. The second time, I chose my Airbnb so I could walk to Doshi House for breakfast every morning and dinner every night. They are not very motivated by climate control. The decor is sparing and kind of run down, the location is kind of barren and residential. Their pistachio latte is phenomenal. Their dinners, which are on a weekly rotation of only one choice every night, are comforting and humble in the way that a homecooked meal is. Their empanadas are quite tasty. Their strawberry shortcake is okay, but not worth writing home about. This place touches my heart, but it might not be for everyone.

I had the Mumbai panini and really enjoyed it. I had the sunset to drink, it’s good but SWEET. I also grabbed some treats from sinful bakery while visiting 😍

Cute Little Spot! - Edit
I wandered into Doshi House for lunch after hitting Sinfull Bakery up right down the road. The lunch menu is pretty small, but what I ordered was fantastic (The Mumbai Street sandwich I think it was called). Both myself (vegan) and boyfriend (non vegan) ordered the same thing and we both enjoyed it a lot. Ton's of flavor and if you are a fan of Indian food, you will love that sandwich. It comes with Cheese, but if you ask them to make it vegan they will accommodate. I also tried the black bean & sweet potato empanada which was really good! Sandwich came with plantain chips which I also really enjoyed.

Their lattes were great...almond milk is an option for us vegans.
The vibe at this coffee house is really chill. It was comfortable and cozy and artsy. Lots of people on their computers and iPads working. Music was really chill too.
I can't wait to try out the dinner menu! Based on my experience I would 100% return in the near future.
Pros: Chill & relaxing Atmosphere , lots of vegan & vegetarian options, good food

Doshi House, mostly for drinks but some great vegan food options - Edit
Vegetarian coffeehouse with small lunch menu and rotating evening meal. I have had their vegan sandwiches and the Not so butter chicken. Everything always taste great, but it is a little expensive for the portions.

Hard to find - Edit
The address on the website somehow sends you to the opposite direction, but all you have to do is call and they will happily give you directions. The food was AMAZING and customer service was so wonderful. The prices aren't bad either. I really enjoyed it and I will be going back again!

Fun Kitschy Atmosphere- Serious food! - Edit
I visited Doshi cafe yesterday with my boyfriend who is not vegan. I should preface by saying this is not in a great area of town but once inside Doshi House, this matters not. The decor is charmingly mismatched and the local art displayed is beautiful. The staff is incredible friendly including the owner Deepak, who was very hands on with the business and a complete delight to interact with. My boyfriend and I both got the special of the day: a vegan alternative of butter chicken. It was served with a perfectly seasoned garlic pita and the meal melted in your mouth. I enjoyed it so much that I ordered a second one to go. I also partook of the empanadas and while smaller than I envisioned they were also quite tasty. The highlight of everything though was the cinnamon rolls that we brought home with us for today's breakfast. We couldn't resist having a taste last night and they were so delicious that we actually polished them off immediately- my boyfriend still can't believe they were vegan. Overall a very worthwhile stop! Enjoy! :)

I Love the artichoke panini, soooooooooo good, but not just that the atmosphere is amazing. I feel like I'm home, it's comfy as heck. And their plantain chips are yummy and so are they're soups and cupcakes.

the perfect coffee shop - Edit
I visited this place several times during my stay in Houston. After one stop in, I was in love. This place has a great vibe--good music, ample space, and a comfortable atmosphere. The owner is really friendly, as is all the staff. Delicious beverages and food. I had a salad (which was delicious) and my girlfriend tried two versions of the vegan empanadas, which she raved about. I very highly recommend this place. It's my favorite coffee shop in Houston, hands down. Unlike many other cafes, the vegan options are stellar. They also seem to host some awesome events. Check them out and I swear you'll never regret it.

Great food and atmosphere - Edit
I luckily found this gem while visiting Houston for my first time. I currently live in Philadelphia but will be moving to the Houston area soon. The food and smoothie I order was excellent and the service was great and personable. The decor inside was very relaxing and cozy. Definitely a good place to read a book or work on other studies (I think they have free WiFi). I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves great tasting food and smoothies especially if you are a vegan or vegetarian. I will be visiting again when I move to Houston, keep up the great food and service!
