Awesome vegan hot dog - Edit
Wow! The vegan chili and queso dog was amazing!! 10/10 (forgot the actual name). Fair prices, I think this one was 10$ and it’s a locally owned spot.

Several vegan options listed on the menu. The prices are reasonable. The food was really good. We had a half order of fried pickles to share and the portion was huge, more than enough to share. They’re open until midnight! I would definitely come back.

Must Try for Hotdog Fans - Edit
I chose this place due to the fact it’s open late. It’s also not every day you run across a selection of gourmet vegan hot dogs! I got the chili cheese dog through delivery, which was good, but not great. They really skimped on the cheese, there was hardly any (maybe because it was end of night?). The bun to filling ratio was way off. There was far too much bready bun to hotdog and toppings - BUT it was still good and pretty unique in terms of vegan food.
Read moreThe fried pickles were fun, tasty, and plentiful. They even have vegan chocolate chip cookies! Overall I’d give this place a 3.5… if only we could do half stars on HC. Anyway, if you like hot dogs, give this place a try!

So if the app would let me I would definitely rate a 5. I'm the only non meat eater in the house and my kids love hotdogs so this place was a win win. The vegan ratchet and Vegan frito pie was amazing. With their vegan options you can make pretty much anything vegan. Every hotdog except like 1 could be made vegetarian which is amazing. Full order of curly fries were enough for my family of 4 to share, 2 kids 2 adults. The food was amazing and service was excellent. The time was taken to explain the menu and they reccomended a super tasty can't believe it's vegan option in the vegan ratchet. Will be returning .

They have always had vegan and vegetarian options, but as of this year they added so many more vegan options! (I believe the wife of the owner is vegan) everything is clearly labeled and customizable and your hot dog comes out with a vegan toothpick marker.

Tried out this place for the first time yesterday and I was pleased. I got the vegan chili cheese dog with fried pickles and curly fries, totaling $20. My meal was good, very filling, a tad pricey but worth it! They had so many options for meat eaters, vegetarians, and vegans. Great place to go if you like hotdogs and have a mixed diet party.

Such an awesome hole in the wall find. My wife and I have come here on several occasions, and each time has been beyond awesome. They will typically have rotating options that they put on their chalkboard, with several vegan options available - they've also been very accommodating to make other dogs vegan at request off their menu as well.
Read moreThis past time we tried the Vegan Frito Pie Dog, and the Vegan Ratchet Dog - both of which are AMAZING. The queso they use on these are 100% vegan and cashew based, probably the best hotdogs I've had by far!
Service here is also extremely friendly, helpful, and all around great people. We'll definitely be coming here regularly just to support them. Would rate 5 stars if the happy cow app let me.

I freakin love hot dogs and these veggie dogs are juicy and fat and perfect. I wish you could order just one hot dog with no sides but unfortunately every dog comes with fries and tots. And they’re great but I would prefer two dogs without paying 20 something bucks to do so.

I gave up hotdogs a very long time ago so when I found out this place had vegan hotdogs, I was completely intrigued. I had the vegan Frito chili pie hotdog, fried pickles and a water. It wasn’t as heavy as I expected it to be, and that’s a good thing. It was definitely filling but not super heavy.

I had a vegan chili dog and fried pickles and they were both delicious, especially the fried pickles. I love that they have so many natural soda options and the atmosphere was very relaxed. The service was great and I’d definitely go again.

This is one of my favorite places. It’s a small local dining option. The staff is SUPER friendly and the vegan options are really really good. My family (meat eaters) didn’t even realize they were vegan until I told them. There are only a few options (2-3 ish) but the entire menu is like 10 items so I think it’s a good ratio.

I’m not a huge fan of vegan “meats” but I gave a try at this place for a change due to good reviews. We had vegan frito dog and guac dog meal combo. They were very flavorful and tasty! If we come through San Antonio again, we will definitely come back. Very friendly service, too!
