Awesome Dog Inn - Edit
Lovely views. Fabulous restaurant in a community pub. We went for Sunday lunch. Best tasting vegan food we have had for a long time. Highly recommend it!!! I will be taking all my friends.

Fantastic food and service - Edit
Second visit to the Dog Inn after a rocky 1st visit in May. Luckily Mark, the owner and chef, invited us back to show us what he and the team had to offer, and boy were we not disappointed. Service was exceptional, great beer (Fullers blonde) and the food was amazing. I’m vegan and this was one reason why we’d initially chosen the Dog Inn; they had a really delicious looking menu catering to my (vegan) needs but also my husbands Omni needs. I had the jackfruit fritters followed the cauliflower steak (pictured) - portions were big (perfect in my opinion), great seasoning and fantastic flavour. Best meal I’ve eaten out in a long time. And even though I was stuffed, I just had to give the vegan Eton mess a go, with ‘meringue’ - it was to die for.

Great Vegan Options - Edit
The Dog Inn is a community owned and run pub and has some great sounding vegan options on the menu. I was supposed to go before lockdown for lunch, so the first opportunity I got I went for dinner.
Read moreStarters of onion bhajia with cucumber & mint raita and leek and potato soup with bread and vegan spread were delicious and hearty portions. Mains of cauliflower steak, with triple cooked chips, tomato and mushroom were equally as tasty and hearty. We were too full for dessert of chocolate and pecan brownie with vanilla sorbet and honeycomb will have to forfeit the starter next time.
Will definitely revisit.
