Improved range of vegan options - Edit
The menu now includes a number of delicious vegan friendly options - including vegan pasties (often fresh from the oven) jacket potatoes, hot vegan sausage sandwich and some cakes. The coleslaw is also vegan. We regularly visit and enjoy the food here and a lovely walk around the national trust site.

NT hot vegan pasties! - Edit
Choice of dairy-free milk for coffee, these pasties are wonderful all over the different NT locations. Only vegan cake option was flapjack so dropped a star there for lack of choice. Clean, warm and welcoming.

Classic National Trust Cafe Vibes - Edit
The Docky Hut is a very cute and convenient place to stop for a light lunch, cake or warm drink after visiting Wicken Fen Nature Reserve.
Read moreThe café is wheelchair accessible and you can bring your dog into the cafe when you place your order but thereafter you need to sit outside. There are picnic benches and water bowls available.
Because the vegan sandwich options had sold out by 1pm (please make more!) I enjoyed a parsnip and apple soup with a coffee. I got 25p off my drink for using my own reusable cup. The rest of my party had vegan baked potato with beans and a coconut milk curry which, be warned, doesn't come with rice. The portions of soup and curry were in mugs which after a morning of walking didn't fill up the tank but bought us enough time to get us to a larger meal.
The table nearby had vegan pasties which looked a bit more substantial.
Will be stopping there again but perhaps just for a coffee unless they have the vegan sandwiches available.
Pros: 25p discount when using your reusable, Wheelchair accessible, Dogs can come in with you to order.
Cons: Different versions of menus inside and outside., Vegan sandwiches sold out by 1pm, Menu not overly inspiring.
