Amazing! Not just for Vegans

This is by far the best vegan restaurant in Baton Rouge. The dishes I’ve had taste like homemade comfort food that just happens to be vegan. It’s all made from scratch. I’ve talked to the chef several times. She is super talented and happy to answer any of my questions. The food is beautiful. Colorful. Delicious GO TO THE DISH. ITS A MUST
Don’t miss out on dessert. CRAZY!!! So good. Raw and baked items. Get the cake. Any cake. Different each day. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

AWESOME place!

I've enjoyed several dishes here and the food is always amazing! The Bahn Mi Wrap, Green Gumbo, Japanese Potato Salad, and Curry Lentil Vegetable soup were all fantastic. My co worker said the Falafel wrap was good too!

The Kids Approved

Its super hard to find a full vegan menu in Baton Rouge... especially one with things the kids like! They definitely delivered from the grilled cheese to the desserts everything was delicious!!!

Great local place

I went here for the chips and queso (like to try them out when I go to new vegan places), but it was out of stock at the time but I tried the hummus and pita and it had to be the best hummus I have had in a long time. I tried the cake and I was impressed, but it was a large slice so plenty to share. And they have expanded the menu and their whole area!! Grab and go now and meal prep. I can't wait to see what they think of next

Get a taste of this!!

The Dish is an incredible place to stop inside The White Star Market! The owners are very friendly and everything on the menu seemed SO good. You’ll leave feeling healthy and satisfied!

Some of the best vegan food

Returning to Texas from a 10 day vacation in Florida. Usually the perception is that food quality and taste falls away towards the back end of a vacation as one starts to crave home cooked food. Not in this case. This is some of the best vegan food we have had. Varied, original and so flavorful.

Best vegan food

I’ve travelled from Florida to California and this was the best vegan restaurant i have eaten in. The food was just something else. The portions were big and very tasty !
We tasted a salad, a burger, a soup and a dessert and every single thing was a discovery on its own. The service is a little slow as the place tends to be busy but bare it because it is more than worth it !
Love it, recommend it !

Delicious, Rotating Menu

I'm so glad to have another vegan restaurant to review in Baton Rouge! The Dish offers a rotating menu for entrees (usually just one meal a day), with several soups and salads both rotating and permanently on the menu. They also have desserts and cake daily. Due to their unconventional menu, you really need to follow them on social media to know what's available on any given day. Their hours are a little strange, closing rather early during the week, but open wide hours during the weekend. They are very expensive, so I only eat there occasionally. The food is very good and I'm happy to see some more comforting, meaty/cheesy items (BBQ jackfruit, mac and cheese, creamy soups) as opposed to just vegetables. The few things I've tried from them have all been delicious, but the price and hours keep from dining here often.

Amazing food

Had mushroom wrap and hummus

Pros: Food was so good, Chocolate cake was offered but I was stuffed!

Cons: Expensive but worth it
