Quick pit stop

Really nice coffee and baked good. Appreciated that they gave my doggo a great too. Good place to have a sit after a walk along the river

Great views of the Tyne

Lovely cafe with indoor and outdoor seating on the river. Several vegan options eg sandwiches, cakes, drinks. Shame they serve eat-in food on disposal plates with disposable cutlery. Not sure why this place is getting five star reviews as it serves meat and has a large billboard advertising bacon butties

Lovely spot with great view

We stopped by here one morning to grab a coffee and a snack and we were really impressed with the food and service. Coffee was good, as were the vegan sausage rolls and the chocolate peanut butter blondie. Sitting outside you get great views of the bridges over the River Tyne, and the atmosphere is very lively and friendly with different groups stopping for a coffee before or during a cycle tour. It was also great to see some youth group activities happening at The Cycle Hub, and the workshop looked interesting. Will visit again next time we're in Newcastle.

Pros: Great view of the bridges over the River Tyne, Friendly staff and nice atmosphere , Tasty vegan options

excellent

I had a vegan sausage roll. It had a lovely herby flavour. My coffee was rich and tasted of molasses.

Wheelie Good

Visited here over the bank holiday weekend where we shared a carrot and orange slice, a peanut butter chocolate chip cookie dough, a decaf soya latte and an Americano, while basking in the sunshine overlooking the fabulous Tyne views. The cakes were deliciously divine but my favourite was probably the cookie dough. The coffee and latte were great too. Great stop off to watch the world go by and rest up. A must visit.

Pros: Views , Vegan options , Staff

Cons: Serves meat/dairy

You say Rolls, I say Royce

Fabulous spot on the banks of the River Tyne with quite stunning views up river to the city. This ultra bike friendly cycle repair hub and cafe is perfect for a well earned mid-ride refuel. The home-made vegan sausage rolls are delicious and there is a choice of at least a couple of vegan cakes. I had the carrot cake which was rich and succulent although I should maybe have gone for the peanut butter brownie. Outdoor seating is recommended should the weather allow it.
