Wow!! - Edit
I don't say this lightly - best plate of food after over a month on Oahu. What an amazing surprise this little kitchen is!! I had the volcano bowl, which had a tofu patty over a bed of fried rice, along with a gorgeous salad with picked red onions, coconut bacon, and an amazing aioli. Just WOW, it was so tasty and left me wanting more.

Out of this world - Edit
I’ve been coming for years and love love love this place! Nestled in the back of a tiny health food store - the type where you can walk in barefoot after sidestepping chickens.
Read moreThe food has only gotten better over the years. I love when they have musubi - perfect appetizer while waiting for your order. Then taking the order to the beach to eat.
Lots of GF options. Fresh, local ingredients. And all vegan. It’s small, but mighty.
Fun to wander the store while waiting.
Pros: A North Shore experience
Cons: Limited hours

A back alley delight - Edit
Cosmic kitchen
Read moreA fully vegan back alley delight.
Decent sized menu, just a few seats from what I saw, but the decor emphasizes that they are more of a grab and go restaurant so it is fair. Very kind service, took a bit but was worth the try in my opinion. Cannot complain about the price.
I got the pina colada smoothie and the breakfast sandwich.
Piña colada: very enjoyable, cannot complain, honestly above average In my opinion.
The breakfast sandwich: was great for an earthy meal, a little messy but worth getting.
It was pretty satisfying, I may come back to give them another try. Not a go-to compared to the other options but very very good, and I would say excellent amongst their peers. (Cosmic>peace cafe) in my opinion so far.
Pros: Service, Taste

Best Vegan Sandwich Ever?!? - Edit
Everything is amazing. But the B.L.A.T. with Tempeh on Whole Grain and Garlic Dynamite sauce might be the best quick vegan sandwich EVER! All vegan, and don’t forget to ask about the specials and desserts. Chia pudding, Cacao-Avocado pudding and Brownies are out of this world. I suppose that’s why they chose the name “Cosmic” Kitchen.

Looked for some vegan food on Happy Cow and because I was on that side of the island Cosmic Kitchen was my only option. It turned out to an amazing find.

Small vegan cafe inside of Celestial Natural Foods. A bit hard to find the first time. Good smoothies. I had one of the bowls which was a little plain but ingredients were fresh.

Delicious Healthy Food - Edit
Fantastic food with tons of flavor, lots of greens, and a perfect spot for smoothies. The only downside is there is limited outdoor seating in a back alley if you'd like to sit outside. it isn't always busy and I have had no problems eating there. The staff are incredible and really helpful when making recommendations. Definitely try the coconut bacon! It’s made in-house and a great add-on

I ordered the Cosmic Egg-less Salad, which includes local organic tofu, coconut bacon, pickled red onions, cucumber slices, and local lettuce and sprouts on sourdough (or ciabatta or whole grain) bread with pesto (or dynamite, garlic, or pineapple) aioli. We waited a half hour for our food, but it was worth it. The sandwich was messy, but tasty.

Great hidden hole in the wall - Edit
This place is a little hard to find at first , just park in the parking lot beside the mail post and you will see a cafe in the same building , just walk around to the side and you will be greeted to a shop on the side of a wall. No signs or indications pointing to you there . You really gotta just trust google maps and walk until you see it!

Vegans! Do not miss this Gem! - Edit
My vegan family LOVED this place! Delicious food and all vegan. Worth the drive from Honolulu just for this food! But it’s also close to Wameia Bay which was a great beach for our kids. The owner is so nice and you can tell they care about everything that goes into their food. The breakfast sandwich was excellent, the jackfruit Hawaiian sandwich eas perfect, and my kids loved the kids breakfast tofu scramble bowl with coconut bacon! I hope they open a location in the southern part of the island. THANK YOU cosmic kitchen for doing what you do!

Worth the Trip - Don't miss it! - Edit
Cosmic Kitchen can be a little challenging to find. Park in the USPS parking lot and walk next door to the small grocery store. The restaurant is located in the very back right of the grocery store, but also has a walk up window in the alleyway. Get the Kahlua Jackfruit sandwich with pineapple and dynamite aioli - you won't regret it! It's the perfect blend of sweet and spicy, with juicy flavorful jackfruit. We made the trip up twice in 1 week, it was that good!
