Yum! - Edit
We were very hungry when we arrived and left very satisfied! The smashed potatoes tacos were delicious and the Farmyard breakfast were delicious and filling. Slightly more greasy than we typically eat but worth it.

A Phoenix fave 👍 - Edit
The Coronado offers delicious cooked-from-scratch food in an inviting environment with warm and friendly service. We especially appreciate that they make their own plant proteins rather than using processed faux meats. The chilaquiles are hearty and tasty.

We tried a couple of burgers: the mushroom and the buffalo cauliflower. There's a nice whole-foody vibe and the service was great.

Tasty witchy vegan food - Edit
This was a lovely little place! I got the chilaquiles at the suggestion of my waitress and it was very tasty. Also got the cherry limeade because work is paying. I loved the witchy atmosphere which is not obvious from the website other than the shirt- for example all of the menu placard designs were modified tarot cards. (Mine was VIII/Strength, for which the interpretation is left as an exercise for the reader). Would definitely come back.

Food and Atmosphere are SO good! - Edit
My husband and I have been here a few times and we always LOVE it! The food is incredible for both breakfast and lunch - and whatever you do, start with the Fried Guac; the sauce is to die for! The whole place is super cute/instagramable and the music is a vibe! We just tried the Brunch Wrap - a new menu item and it was delicious!!

Delicious! - Edit
Didn’t get the greatest photo but we both found our meals to be very delicious! Small snafu in the beginning as we were asked to have a seat while a table was cleared, waiting seats you staring directing at people dining about four feet from their table, so that felt awkward and we waited about 15 minutes before someone told us we were expected to have taken the table after it was wiped down. After that bad start the service was friendly and experience positive. Would go back if in the area!

Delicious and creative dishes - Edit
We stopped here for lunch after arriving at the airport in the morning, and were excited and all vegan restaurant and bar that was open early, with all day breakfast, lunch, and dinner options. We had the cauliflower tacos (with cauliflower battered with masa— very tasty!), crema, spinach, and pepitas, and the chiliquiles, which were topped with tofu scramble, and a tasty smoky sauce with crema. The house made tortilla chips were delicious and the salsa has kick. The menu also had breakfast items like shortstack, avocado toast, chia bowls, and there are burgers, burritos, chimichanga, and a tasty sounding cake (we were too full). The drink options are extensive. One of our orders took longer due to a glitch with their system, but theh brought over a huge plate of free chips and salsa while we waited. Very courteous waitstaff!

First time back to Coronado PHX and the menu has changed significantly. Nonetheless, I tried one each of the tacos and was not disappointed. My favorite was the cauliflower taco!

All vegan Tex Mex in Phoenix - Edit
I recently went to The Coronado PHX. It was a close walk from where I was staying. Phoenix is very spread out and a car here is necessary. Being a car-free urban San Franciscan meant that I opted to use Lyft nearly daily in Phoenix yet appreciated being able to walk to The Coronado PHX.
Read moreThe Coronado PHX is 100 percent vegan. I loved seeing a full restaurant with so many folks eating vegan food. This made me very happy and like supporting vegan restaurants for that reason.
I decided to go with the Vegan Chimichanga because I was in Arizona and the Chimichanga was apparently created in nearby Tucson so paying homage to Chimichanga is a good thing when in Arizona for when in Roman do as the Romans do is how the saying goes.
The Chimichanga was quite alright and made with in house Quinoa Chorizo. I enjoyed it. Friendly service was here. The only thing that could have been better was the ambiance for didn't like the music that was playing.
Not much to do about that yet all in all pretty solid and recommended if in Phoenix!
Pros: all vegan, friendly service
Cons: didn't like the music

Great Dinner Spot in PHX - Edit
Wonderful vegan restaurant in the PHX area tucked away in the neighborhoods and offers delicious plant-based Mexican goodness. I came here to celebrate my sister's commencement from ASU and they were a highlight of the week.
Read moreOur table started with their Fried Guacamole and their Cauliflower Bites. The guac was my Mom's favorite dish which speaks volumes since she rarely eats much outside of East Asian cooking. The bites were fine but a bit too salty for my liking.
For our mains, we tried their Potato Tacos, Mushroom Tacos, Jackfruit Flautas, their California Burrito with cremini asada, and a Caesar Salad. Their potato and mushroom tacos were superb with the former really reminding me of Taco Bell but in the best way. The flautas were topped with a pickled slaw and the seasoned jackfruit really made the dish stand out. My parents enjoyed their burrito and salad as well, and didn't realize until the end of the meal that everything we had was plant based.
The vibe inside was fantastic too. Nice mood lighting for a good atmosphere. I'd definitely recommend Coronado for anyone wanting a fantastic meal whether they eat plant-based or not. Everything was just delicious.

i heard a lot of hype about this place. and the pancakes specifically. they were pretty good. however i’ve definitely had better vegan pancakes before, i thought it was peculiar they had no fruit available as a side for the pancakes? the vibe is neat and our server was nice.

Amazing Pancakes - Edit
Had Brunch here. Good Chilaquiles, bloody Maria. Biscuits snd Gravy were ok.....biscuits a bit dense. The pancakes were amazing. Super fluffy. Don't bother ordering coffee here. They only get 1 pot alloyed to them a day apparently? This is what the waitress said. So continued to inform us that the coffee shop next door was owned by the same owner......hmmmm very strange. So food is good just bring in your own coffee from next door.

Great menu options - Edit
Coming from a state with limited vegan options, it’s nice to go to a restaurant and just place an order. We had the Coronado burrito, fried avocado and biscuits and gravy with tofu egg added. They even had a apple pie chimichanga for dessert. We sat outside and every time we travel we try to swing through. I can see it could get very busy at times with long waits but we never had an issue.

This place was amazing! I was in town visiting Phoenix for a few days and this was my favorite meal by far. It was such a cute vibe inside, nice staff, and the food was spectacular! One of the best vegan breakfasts I’ve ever had — the chorizo tacos were so well flavored and seasoned with a great spice that it didn’t need any Cholula or hot sauce or anything. There’s also a coffee shop attached to it where you can walk in and grab your coffee of choice and bring it back to have with your meal! So worth the stop if you’re ever in Phoenix!!

I don't get the hype - Edit
I've been here two or three times and each time was a long wait for just ok food. If someone was coming into town to visit, and I wanted to show them good vegan food, this place wouldn't even be on the list of options. And yet it seems to be the most popular place in town. Maybe it's just because the location and food is super instagrammable?
