Amazing tasty food, great service. I had Korean fried rice with tofu, other options were mushroom risotto, watermelon feta salad or vegan burger. Exotic fruit platter for dessert, didn’t take pic of main course but it was all delicious. Vegan children’s meal option of tomato pasta with vegetables too

Dire - Edit
I’ve eaten a lot of vegan dishes and this one was the worst! The cauliflower main was completely tasteless - well aside from a bigger burnt flavour. Couldn’t eat it and had to send it back and just get chips! It’s 2023 it’s really not that hard to make a tasty vegan dish- this menu reads like it’s been created by a meat eater chef who hates vegans or has just never tasted the vegan dishes themselves.

Lots of great vegan options - Edit
Lots of great vegan options and a great location .. near to Miller and Avenham Parks, the train station and Preston town centre.
Read moreThey offer indoor, outdoor and conservatory seating. There are vegan starters, mains and dessert. Not the usual 'make do' options, but really inspiring and tasty food.
Today I had the Tofu in cider batter with chunky chips, pea and basil puree and lemon curd dip. It was delicious 😋
Pros: Lots of very good vegan options
Cons: None

Good vegan options - Edit
We called here on December 19, 2021, a busy Sunday around teatime. We didn’t have a reservation, but the staff managed to squeeze us in despite it being very busy with Christmas and Sunday lunches.
Read moreI chose the vegan sausage of the day on a bed of mash with veg gravy and hubby had the coconut Dahl (not on the online menu). We shared the cauliflower balls. The sausage dish was lovely though they were more vegetable croquets than sausage. Hubby said his Dahl was good as well. The cauli balls were different shaped cauli wings and lacked a dipping sauce. All was nicely presented. Service was good despite the pub being very busy. Overall a good visit and a vast improvement on the food from last time we visited over summer.
