We went here three times while staying on Skye. Once for takeaway coffee and cake and once for breakfast and again for lunch. Everything on the menu can be made vegan, and a lot of it is vegan as standard. They had an amazing selection of cakes and bakes of which about 80% were vegan, perhaps more. We had great pancakes and waffles and for lunch nachos and a mega sandwich. Dog friendly too.

LGBT/Vegan friendly, coolest cafe in Skye - Edit
Just the nicest place. I told them that I was vegan when I walked in and they burst out happily "well then you have come to the right place!" Everything can be made vegan they have vegan chicken and other meats, they have nondairy cheese for nachos topped with vegan haggis and their soups were all vegan as were most of their pastries and cakes, which by the way looked amazing even though we "only" had one.And no up charge for non-dairy milk!

Forgot to take a photo but their Instagram page has lots. So many cakes on offer, hot drinks and a few lunch options. We got the vanilla chai cake which was delish. Dog friendly too. Highly recommend!

Exceptional vegan in Skye - Edit
So many options! We stopped for a drink but ended up grabbing cakes and wishing we could stay. They offer breakfast, lunch and treats for a quick treat. After a few days touring Skye, this was by far the best vegan friendly establishment we came across. The drinks and food were excellent. I would give it five stars if HC would allow.

Friendly queer owned cafe with loads of delicious vegan cake offerings ( including some vegan and gf!) Sandwiches and bowls, coffee and cold drinks. Just off the main road with indoor and outdoor seating. A must stop on the way to or from Isle of Skye! Dogs are welcome too!

I was so happy to come across this spot after feeling a bit worried about options for cafes/restaurants on Skye with decent vegan options. As others have stated everything can be veganised. Most cakes and pastries are vegan, no extra charge for alternative milks either. I had the beast sandwich which was unreal!

And a bonus for the good coffee.
They also had huge cakes, looked amazing. If we were to return to this bit of Scotland, we would surely come back.

This was a fantastic find. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Everything on their menu can be made vegan and the cake selection was very exciting. We had the cranachan cake and coffees which were delicious. I would give it 5 stars if happy cow would let me. The owners are really lovely characters and their dog Jinx is adorable. Highly recommend visiting here if you are in the area.

The Coffee Bothy is such a delightful spot on Skye. It’s very vegan friendly (there are options for everything on the menu as one of the owners is vegan), the cakes were amazing, and everyone was lovely and so welcoming. Me and my girlfriend were delighted that it’s also super queer friendly! An absolute must visit!

The menu has so many choices you will struggle to choose! We ate in and bought takeaway for laterbin the day!
Skye is limited for vegan food places and on busy days the shops we found had v low stock, thank goodness for this place!!

The owners of this place are absolutely amazing. I had been in a e with my baby and they were so lovely even offering to make me a sandwich after closing. We came for breakfast the next day and everything of the menu can be veganised as one of the owners is vegan!

Nicest sandwich I’ve ever had - Edit
The absolutely lovely guys running the Coffee Bothy said they can do anything on the menu completely vegan, so I opted for the chicken pesto sandwich - oh my word I think it was the nicest sandwich I’ve ever had! If I recall correctly, all of the homemade cakes are vegan and are deeeeelicious. I tried the Guinness cake and the coffee cake, I wish I was staying near enough to go there every day to try more!

Everything on the menu could be veganised, we had pancakes and the BLT. Could have stayed here all day but settled with some take away cake - cookies & cream and coffee & walnut were delicious, had more options to choose from as well. Lovely couple who own it and dog friendly which is a bonus.
Wish were local to visit again!
