VEGAN CREAM TEA - Edit
Me and my mum were over the moon to arrive to the option of a vegan cream tea - This consisted of vegan scones (plain or fruit), oat based clotted cream, jam and a tea with milk choices of oat or soya all for £6. They also had vegan flapjacks, vegan chocolate cookies and vegan sandwiches.

Nice hot drinks and small bake! - Edit
Had a lovely, frothy oat milk hot chocolate with their vegan oat cookies and flapjacks. A handful of vegan sweet treats to choose from. Some nice veggie sandwiches too!

Nice place for vegans - Edit
Visiting Avebury I was very pleased to find such a nice place that clearly marks items as vegan (and gluten-free). I even got a piece of vegan chocolate cake!

Great, Cool Little Place - Edit
Avebury is beautiful but you would expect to have to either skip lunch or deal with pub food. By some miracle, however, the National Trust has this gem of a veggie restaurant located just beside the stone circle!
Read moreThey have lots of pre-prepared deli food for take out and also a number of hot lunch options (4 or 5) and soup. I had a Lentil Wellington which was really wonderful and a delicious soup. I also had a ginger-cake for dessert which was great. They have a number of tables outside which was wonderful for the day was very fine. I wish I had been with four friends rather than alone so I could have tried the other lunch options but my belly was bursting by this point.
The prices were good and the staff was very friendly. Not all the lunch options are vegan but most of them were the day I was there. They must make sure there are a few each day. They also have a good assortment of nice drinks and pressés in the cooler.
I was surprised and impressed by this cool little place and glad to have had the closest thing to a Beef Wellington I will probably ever have :)
Pros: Delicious, Friendly, Good prices
