Bad service - Edit
Terrible service! Waited too long for our food and then they brought the wrong dish. Then they made us wait longer and we ran out of time so we had to get it to go and then they didn’t bring the to go containers and made us wait for that. We also had to ask again for the check. Never going back.

Gotta step their game up with customer service/online ordering - Edit
The food was actually pretty good. But when it comes to online ordering, they got a lot of things to work on and got to make sure that customer service gets better. For some reason if you place an order online and they're out of one item, they cancel and refund the entire order instead of calling the customer to see if they want to substitute. So when you get ready to head down to the restaurant and you get a notification or you find out when you get there that your order has been refunded and canceled. Now you're hungry and frustrated when you were anticipating getting your food and leaving. At this particular time you have two options, to reorder your food and wait or go somewhere else. This is not good customer service. Cider Press staff has to fix that.
Read moreThankfully after speaking to a manager we got a major discount on our re-order. But typically in situations like this I typically with patronize a restaurant with this type of service again.
Pros: Good food, Patient staff
Cons: Customer service is not that good , Notify customer when items aren't available , Don't cancel order w/o speaking to customer 1st

Vegan Gem in St. Pete - Edit
I recently dined at the Cider Press Pub in St. Petersburg and was thoroughly impressed! The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel right at home. Their knowledge and enthusiasm for vegan cuisine added to the delightful experience. The menu is a vegan paradise, offering a variety of creative and flavorful dishes that cater to both long-time vegans and those curious about plant-based eating.
Read moreA standout feature is their fully vegan bar, which offers an extensive selection of innovative cocktails and ciders. The bartenders are skilled and passionate, crafting perfect drinks to complement the meal. The cozy, inviting ambiance makes it a great spot for both casual meals and special nights out. Cider Press Pub is a true gem in St. Petersburg, and I can't wait to return! Highly recommended!

Great, vegan food - Edit
Food is a bit expensive but very tasty and delicious. Beef dish could have used more flavor, felt like more plain linguine than actual sauce. Steak quesadilla was great.

Delicious! - Edit
Really enjoyed our dinner here! Loved the kale caesar salad. Highly recommended by the server and it didn’t disappoint. The jambalaya balls and bang bang shrimp were delicious. The key lime cheesecake was a bit of a joke given its $9 price tag and tiny portion. It was also still a little frozen. Nonetheless, still yummy. Friendly service! Love the fully vegan menu.

“Our balls are legendary.” - Edit
Our fabulous server wasn’t wrong: their jambalaya balls were incredible and something I’ll daydream about for years to come. The rest of what we got was ridiculously good, too, all with NOLA-quality spices and flavors, the blackened shrimp especially.

I love the new place and food - Edit
The first restaurant they had I was not impressed. But, this new place is wonderful and spacious. The food was hot and delicious. I had jambalaya balls, chicken tenders and fries, buffalo cauliflower bites. There was so much food that I had leftovers for the next day. I will return!

Kind service, great options - Edit
We loved the array of options, food was good. Ordered the bang bang shrimp- delicious! Mac and cheese has a bit of a coconut taste to it- not my favorite! I got the Buffalo chicken sandwich and my husband got the lobster roll. Both tasty! Beer was okay, dry cider was okay. Service was so kind and the desserts looked amazing, but we were so full!

I’m not used to having so many options; my only regret is not having a bigger stomach. I would have tried more, but I settled on the Kastu sandwich. It had the perfect crunch and the perfect mix of savory and sweet sauces.

Great atmosphere - Edit
Everything is pretty tasty and it's good pub food. The bar is really nice and all the bartenders and servers are friendly and attentive. However it's a little disappointing to see so much packaged food on the menu especially for the price. I understand it's a pub so they will serve pub food but I don't believe prepackaged is the way to go and it would be nice to see something different from what many other vegan restaurants are doing.

Disappointing - Edit
First time here. Didn't live up to it's reputation. From what I understand, it's a new location and a new menu, gone more mainstream pub food. Mostly now comfort food, not particularly creative, using packaged vegan protein (I asked). Nothing really "vegetable-forward" on the menu.
Read moreSauce for Mac and cheese was pretty good. Sandwich was greasy, as was appetizer. Key lime pie was served while still frozen.

Processed vegan food - Edit
This used to be a great place with a few healthier options like the Kale Ranch Salad. Now even the salads are full of processed faux meats and cheeses and they are really small. Super bummed as we would love to support them but there is just truly nothing whole food plant-based on the menu. Everything is dripping in oil and salt.
