Works in a pinch - Edit

I was volunteering at the LPGA today and had a meal voucher for any of the food trucks on site.

Somewhat ironically, the Chop Spot, was the only place that catered to a vegan and gluten-free diet. Normally, I would try to support a vegan business, but the only other truck with plant based options did not offer anything gluten-free.

I had ginger tofu on beansprouts with a vegetable broth. I added all of the plant based and gluten-free toppings. Then I drizzled on some hot sauce for a little extra kick.

The meal was perfectly filling and fresh. The perfect thing to eat on a hot day, and not feel like passing out afterward.

I had to laugh at the guy working the truck today, though. I overheard him ask a dude, in a Hawaiian shirt, if he played golf today. It reminded me of when you see a band play and they yell "I love people from *instert wrong city here.*" (Like, where are we again?) Nice people, they just had no idea that they were at a world-class sporting event. ⛳️🏌‍♀️

Pros: Fresh and healthy , Yummy tofu, Only vegan and GF option at the event

Cons: The name and logos are off-putting for vegans
