Hotel with bar and dining service. Serves meat, but can cater for vegans at the restaurant as well at breakfast (offering vegan sausage, plant milk, dairy-free spread). Can provide separate vegan menu for dinner.
We stayed for three nights on a birthday trip for my husband. It was a midweek in March, so we weren't sure what to expect.
The hotel itself is currently undergoing renovations. The bits that have been redone look great and it'll be lovely when finished. The rooms themselves don't appear to have been updated (or certainly, ours hadn't). It was a little dated (poor for plug sockets), but a decent sized room overall.
Our breakfasts were included with the stay. Range was fine but a little limited. Missing some obvious things that would make catering for veggies / vegans easier (a veggie sausage / bacon would have been great). The staff were attentive though and would bring out fresh toast to the table, which was a nice touch. Alternative milks were readily available.
We are at the bar one evening. They had a surprisingly thorough vegetarian and vegan menu. We shared nachos, tacos and cheese bites. Decent food for what it could have been - we wouldn't have hesitated to eat there again (weeknights in March are quiet in Caernarfon!).
They arrange entertainment on the evenings (I think geared at the coach trips staying at the hotel). A little cheesy, but inkeeping with the feel of the venue.

Pleasantly Surprised - Edit
