Cute Cakes with Backyard Atmosphere - Edit
Hidden behind a bookstore, this comfy little cafe is secluded and acts as an escape from the hustle of the Dublin streets. Their vegan cakes change on the daily, so be sure to inquire about their vegan baked goods for the day. Makes great almond milk lattes as well as specialty teas. Can get a little busy since it’s a small space, but the Cake Cafe is a great little place to escape with a friend for some tea.

Not very vegan-friendly - Edit
The Cake Café has been around for a good few years - I used to frequent the place when I was a veggie. Now that I'm vegan I can't really enjoy anything on their menu other than beans on toast... while their beans on toast are good, it gets tiresome. It's a nice spot for a tea or coffee on a sunny day, but regrettably those are few in number here in Ireland! There is some indoor seating but it's fairly limited - and I think the whole concept is overhyped given the fact that little has changed in the menu over the years. I really hope they update their menu soon to include another plant-based main, and perhaps a vegan cake or two! Until then, unfortunately I won't be back.

Cute hidden gem - Edit
Tucked behind a bookshop with a lovely selection of outside seating, this place is perfect for summer brunch. There are a few vegan options on the menu, including a beautiful homemade beans on toast. Only let down is that they usually only have one vegan cake.

Vegan menu seems to be gone - Edit
I looked these guys up online and after seeing their promising vegan menu I decided this would be a great place to go for lunch. Unfortunately it seems they have a new menu without the vegan section that has the French toast etc. The staff were very kind and said they could make me a dish but I decided not to stay, as I had my heart set on the v French toast which was no longer on the menu.

Unique flavours - Edit
Really love space, feel like you’re out of the city. Has the vegan French toast with candied nuts and stewed rhubarb. There was also a veggy burger that could be made vegan. Beautifully decorated and great flavours.

Cozy and yummy - Edit
Small place that smells heavenly upon entering. Friendly service and has a few vegan options (I got the vegan friendly French toast). Different vegan desserts available every day, just ask for what’s available as the staff are knowledgeable. Menu has a vegan friendly section for simplicity.
