All vegetarian and gluten free cafe. Plenty of vegan options for lunch and baked goods. Menu and product available varies on a daily basis. Everything is made from scratch on site. They highly recommend their vegan grilled cheese sandwich and vegan mocha cake. The market stocks specialty foods, gluten-free, fair trade organic coffee, quality teas, raw nuts, dried fruits, fresh veggies, and more. Open Tue-Sat 9:00am-5:00pm.

So lovely - Edit
I’ve been wanting to visit for years now, so excited to finally have gotten to!
Read moreSuch a beautiful building and lovely store/bakery. They offered a beautiful selection of teas, specialty food items and refridgeted to-go foods and desserts. As well as having their counter where they offer vegan cupcakes, muffins and other treats. The blueberry muffins were so good! And I enjoyed the chocolate cupcake as well.
Pros: Vegan baked goods, Nice store and selection , Tea!

Great place for gluten-free vegans - Edit
Glad we stopped here on our trip from Halifax to Saint John. We got there around 2:00 p.m. and they were already out of their sandwiches (all of which were vegan), but we got some yummy pizza rolls to tide us over. Also some of their homemade granola and homemade coconut "bacon." Super friendly staff and really cute place.

Delicious place for lunch - Edit
I had a salad and vegan stew, which came with bread and vegan butter. Both were wonderful, just what I needed en route back from Nova Scotia (such a great change from fast food places). If I’d had room, there were tempting desserts and coffees and teas. Now I’ve got the energy for a walk in Sackville Waterfowl Park!

Wonderful lunch - Edit
Had a wonderful lunch here with my daughter of a visit to Mt A. We had the carrot coconut soup, the daily special salad and a lovely grilled cheese. For dessert we had a rocky road bar with vegan marshmallows a delicious brewed coffee with almond milk. Definitely worth a stop if only for coffee and a baked treat, and a browse around the store. All GF as well!

Cute country shop - Edit
The Crackling Goose is part shop part café and has lots of vegetarian options and vegan as well. (They also do lots of GF too!)
Read moreThe staff are really friendly and there's a lot of options available for all diets. Only had a chocolate cupcake, which was really good however the icing wasn't so great. Wide range of teas as well to choose from. Would recommend as I feel the icing may have been a personal taste issue rather than it being bad.
Pros: Vegan/ vegetarian options, Friendly staff, Verity
Cons: A bit cramped if full

Adorable but needs a little more. - Edit
We were travelling through the area and were excited to find this place. We were overjoyed with all of the vegan food you could buy, teas and essential oils. They have so much to offer. The menu was vast for vegans. We got a squash grilled "cheese", vegan grilled cheese, rubans, cookies, a cinnamon bun, london fog and a mocha. Having this many options at a restaurant is always exciting however the food was bland. All of it from main course to dessert. With a little help from some herbs, spices and condiments this place could really rock it. Cool vibes and amazing staff. Everyone was so kind and helpful.

Cackling Goose Sackville - Edit
We stopped here as we were pleasantly Surprised Sackville had a Vegetarian anything.
Read moreI must say that a few treats we had were really good but some were not.
Tomato sandwich was small and lacked flavour ..my wife's wrap was tiny but she said it was ok
The smoothies had too much soy milk so it watered them down. These items were fairly expensive. The double chocolate cookies were 1.50 each and were tiny and dry. The date squares were good and very moist .
The coco quinoa bar was very moist and tasty..
I hate to complain but I expected more.
Hopefully they will fine tune these items as they have a very good Idea in their hands.
Pros: variety , vegan options, some tasty items
Cons: expensive, small portions, some lacked flavour
