burritos & fajitas - Edit
We had the Wolf & Goat burrito and Fajitas, both were tasty and filling. The red cabbage in the Wolf & Goat burrito was different for me, but I liked it! Nice server, pleasant atmosphere. Also, they don't charge more to veganize menu items.

I like the atmosphere and that everything can be made vegan. Food is good but definitely a very Canadian take on Mexican. The Mary Jane burrito had excellent flavours with the roasted veggies.

Mexcican Inspired: Mock Guac and Burritos - Edit
We popped into The Burrow to use the Plant Curious, 2-fo-1 Burrito deal. We grabbed the burritos "to-go," so we could have them for lunch the next day. While we waited for the food, we hung out and tried the Mock Guac with Chips. The dip was great and the servers were so accommodating.
Read moreWhen we got home, we moved the food to glass containers, and then today, we heated the the burritos up for lunch. I have to say, we both really enjoyed our meals. I had the Felix Jasper as a bowl, to make it gluten-free, and was very pleased. The restaurant made a mistake and gave me regular cheese, on the side, but it was no big deal. My partner, who is not vegan, was stoked and just added it to his when he heated it up. So he was extra happy.

This is the worst Mexican food and possibly the worst vegan food from a restaurant I’ve ever had. The salsa had humongous chunks of raw white onions like it was made from someone who has never had salsa before. The rice and beans tasted like an alley smells. The enchilada was bone dry. The cookies were so tiny and burnt we didn’t even try them. There’s a Mexican restaurant next door, maybe someone there can help this place.

I was worried how this would travel and how clear ordering vegan would be on Uber eats but all went well! The whole menu can be made vegan at no extra charge and on Uber there is a button that says “make it vegan” so that made me feel a lot better. Burrito was on the smaller side but still very good. Potato enchiladas had a little heat so be ware if you’re a baby with spice like me.

A large menu with several vegan items and other vegetarian dishes that can all be made vegan on request. We tried to order a wide variety to try as much as possible of the menu and enjoyed absolutely everything. Would definitely visit again!

Ⓥ Mexican in Vancouver? I just moved from Los Angeles where authentic Mexican cuisine is standard whether it’s v or not. So I was sad for a while here in Van - until I found Burrow! Listen, I’d have given 5 stars if they’d dine these three mandatory authentic Mexican cuisine things: fry your own chips, bake your own tortillas and have a signature rice (yes the rice that goes with everything needs a personality). Otherwise the flavors and creativity in every dish was excellent and surprising and rich and … avocado abundant - another mandatory Mexican cuisine staple!

The reviews were so good I had to try. I ordered tacos to start, but it was the end. Tacos were cold right from the refrigerator, with a tiny little salad with absolutely no flavor on top. If you go,avoid the tacos at any cost. I tried a bit with what my friend had, a burrito,was good but not as great as you would expect if you read the excitement in the reviews. The menu is fully vege.

This is my favorite ever food place. Everything I tried there was sooo delicious. They also got me hooked on their vegan crazadillas after I got one for free once from a special deal. I always buy the frozen ones now and warm them up in the oven for movie nights. It's all I ever wanted from life!

I used to go here all the time when I lived nearby. It’s also one of my must visits when I head back to Vancouver. The meals are fresh and creative, with lots of vegan options. I’ve also brought lots of meat eaters here and they enjoy it too.

I went with this place because it had a mole on the menu. After finally experiencing a mole in Mexico City at a divey vegan taco joint that made me understand what it was supposed to taste like, I've been searching for more of that goodness ever since, The Bandidas mole is pretty one-note, unfortunately.

It incorporated daiya, which I already don't love, but there are a handful of restaurants I've been that have incorporated it in such a way that it married with the rest of the dish. Here, it's as offputting as I normally find daiya to be. I think they should explore house-made options to elevate this dish. The tofu filling was sort of bland and ultimately boring to eat.
Their 7 layer dip was yummy and their vegan sour cream is solid.
Service was friendly, fast and super competent (we wound up at the bar but they remembered that we didn't prefer it, and quickly reseated us when something opened up). The horchata & bourbon cocktail was pretty delicious.

Read moreI ordered the chipotle tofu enchilada and got given a butternut squash enchilada so I was a bit disappointed but didn’t send it back because I didn’t want it to go to waste, still food food tasted great and had a good bit of spice.
