Tasty vegan food

The vegan and vegetarian options are clearly labelled on the menu.

There are a variety of options available; your staple vegan burger and chips or something a little more gourmet .

They also have a shop selling fresh fruit& veg, freshly baked bread and craft beers.

Always have lots of vegan options

Been here a few times now. Wish I lived close enough for it to be our local! They always have lots of vegan options on their standard menu. But they also tend to often do specials with a whole menu of vegan food too. Starters are gorgeous really really beautiful flavours. Always tend to find the mains a bit rich, but lovely nonetheless. Lovely staff. Would recommend if you’re in the area or making a trip here for a treat. Nice pub feel on one side; and a beautiful newly decorated restaurant on the other.

Also- amazing beer and proper Welsh local cider 🍺 👌

Interesting

We had a three course meal including wine.

We started off with buffalo cauliflower and soy glazed tofu. (And we both can't stop thinking about these dishes 🤤🤤🤤)

For the main course we had the burger and the celeriac. The chips on the burger were ever so slightly under, but the burger itself was INCREDIBLE. The celeriac dish was also delicious, but we were highly disappointed in the size especially for the price.

For dessert we had the vegan cheese board. It was a nice touch to have artisan cheeses from North Wales instead of the supermarket rubbish. It as with all cheese boards, needed more crackers, but that was our only complaint.

Overall we will visit again, but we definitely would like to see a better selection of vegan puddings and know if any of the main courses are particularly small.

Pros: High quality vegan food, Wines labelled vegan, A cheese board

Cons: Expensive , One of our mains was tiny, Need vegan puddings
