Excellent vegan options not on the menu - Edit
This is a lovely, cosy rural pub with a great atmosphere and lovely staff. I've had Sunday lunch here a few times now and was a bit worried at first because vegan options aren't listed on the menu. When I enquired though I was told of a few vegan dishes including a pea protein "steak", sticky ribs, a no-Hunter's Chicken along with curry, chilli and options for desserts. I've had the "steak" and the "ribs" as a Sunday roast with veggies, roast potatoes, mashed potatoes and vegan gravy and they were both delicious. I also tried the vegan tiramisu and vegan ice creams. All presented very nicely and the staff are so friendly and helpful. Would recommend any vegans visiting to enquire what is available. Although I'm told that in 2024 they will be changing the menu to include the vegan choices. I've posted pics of the vegan ribs and tiramisu (forgot to put the description on) also the pea protein steaks and an exterior shot of The Bull's Head.
