Not Dog is not vegan - Edit
The flip-flopping around on vegan options at The Bulldog restaurants has been very frustrating. Over the past several years, the hot dogs used in the Not Dogs have changed several times, sometimes vegan, sometimes not, so I have had to check every time it occurred to us to visit. (We used to love these restaurants, but have visited infrequently due to the unreliability of the vegan options.) Last week we thought we might stop by, so I called the Lowertown location to see if the Not Dog is currently vegan, and I was told it is not.

Really lovely service. Non Dog and plant based burger options hit the spot before heading to a Saints game.

Late night lifesaver - Edit
This was the only place I could find that was open in the area late at night. I had the Not Dog, which i think is the only option you can get without requesting changes. The “Dogs” tasted like Beyond Sausage, so really good!

My husband and I love this place. Their black bean burger is very tasty and made in house and they have a good Not Dog. Would definitely recommend this place!

Contrary to previous reviews, staff informed me that the black bean burger is vegan but the not dog is NOT. Burger was great!

The pretzel with mustard is vegan. And so is the not dog which was actually not bad. Both for under $15
