Not Vegan Friendly

I'm making this review relative to being on Happy Cow and in response to other reviews stating they have vegan options. In my experience, this is incorrect. Despite other reviews stating they do, Broken Yolk does NOT have Just Egg or other meat/cheese alternatives.

Planning to use free meal coupons, we called ahead for pickup and began the order prefacing that everything we order should be vegan, clarifying no meat, no egg, no honey, etc.

"Ok, no problem 🙂" we heard from the woman taking the order.

Continued ordering Ranchos Huevos and another skillet, no cheese, no egg. Use Just Egg as the alternative. Again, she confirmed. At the end of the order, she read it all back and we re-iterated for everything to be made vegan. Great, no problem. We wanted to order something else but they couldn't confirm if the bread was vegan.

We get there and find the rice is made with chicken stock. They gave us real eggs and stated "yes, just eggs," clueless that chicken eggs aren't vegan. They don't have Just Egg or any cheese/meat alternatives.

We left with the acai bowl and found it to be overly sweet. Probably lots of sugar, and then we realized we never asked if the granola has honey.

This place is practically useless for vegans, and I'm sure anybody with common sense would retort with a reminder that the name of the place is Broken Yolk, so what would we expect, but there are reviews and menu listings out there claiming that most of the entrees can be easily made vegan, which is simply not true. Vegetarians could probably get by alright.
