Great family meal out - Edit
Up in Eoropie and was delighted to spot this on Happy Cow - wasn’t aware The Breakwater was so on it with their vegan options. We both had really excellent pakora and then a great falafel burger. Our kids had a GF DF pizza that they demolished. Friendly staff, who were really on the ball with allergens, which is always reassuring given the complexity of the little ones’ allergies. We’ll be back for sure.

We called in on our final day of the Hebridean Way. Reasonable choice of vegan options: pizza, toasties, pizza toasties. About a dozen veg topping options for the thin crust pizza. The vegan cheez was alright, the chips good and the service friendly. Prices reasonable. Pretty decor too. They didn’t appear to have vegan cake options today. Also had a good selection of spirits including the lovely Harris malt whisky

Delicious Meal - Edit
We enjoyed a delicious meal at the breakwater! The pizza toasties are amazing, as are the chips! Just make sure you specify no coleslaw as this isn’t vegan!

Beautiful view, lovely cafe - Edit
We popped in for tea and coffee on a wet windy day. They had a vegan chocolate raspberry torte which we had and was delicious. The view from the cafe is fab, and we spent a while watching diving gannets. The food menu looks amazing too.

The Breakwater - Edit
Stumbled across this place luckily, enjoyed the food and the view. Good to see vegan options on the menu. I had a toastie, delicious melty cheeze and onion chutney. Great to be able to have a hot drink as plant milks are available here. Spend some time chilling and taking in the beautiful view.

Yummy scran and a great view - Edit
I was in Ness for a few weeks, staying opposite the Breakwater for one of them. Could see that it was very popular and had multiple locals recommend it to me so on my last night I went and got myself a pizza with vegan cheese, onion, mushrooms and olives! Absolutely delicious. They do takeaway vegan pizzas, curries, and pakora at the weekends (which sounded to be very popular with the locals I spoke to!) and they have a lovely area for sitting in. I took away but when I went to pick up I could see the place had a very cosy interior and great views out to the harbour/beach. Staff were very friendly and accommodating.

Great vegan pizza - Edit
The pizza here is delicious 🤤 Tge staff are super friendly and it was so nice to be able to eat out in Ness as there really is not a whole lot of choice for vegans. They also have a spinach and falafel burger that can be made vegan. They have an ice cream bar with a sorbet option too. Highly recommended when visiting the Isle of Lewis
