Don’t agree that there is no 5 star option for non-fully vegan or vegetarian restaurants.

The food and vibe in here is great. Lovely staff!

The Best Cocktails in Hull - Edit

I often go here and it never disappoints, they also have a majority vegan cocktail menu and the food menu is clearly marked too. Well worth a visit.

Not good - Edit

I came in because I saw they had vegan options on the menu. As soon as I walked in I was told they ran out of all vegan options except for the pizza. It took over a half an hour to produce the vegan pizza, which was subpar. Very oily, so much so that it leaked everywhere. Service was poor, the wait staff didn't want to pick up the check so I had to walk to them and ask for my change. I hope this was a fluke, and not a regular occasion, which is why I gave them a 2 and not a 1.

Great ingredients unfortunately drowned in oil - Edit

Shared the vegan pizza, side salad and potatoes.
The ingredients were lovely and fresh however the pizza and salads had quite literally been dowsed in oil to point where I had to drain both with a napkin. Such a shame as the food itself tasted lovely but could not be finished.

Service from the manager was so lovely, however other staff members were rather non communicative and inexperienced.

Cons: Unacceptably oily

I had the vegan flatbread, it was absolutely delicious. We also had some chubbies, essentially bread dough, they were also very tasty too

The vegan pizza... - Edit

So I ate here one night at the end of Feb after finding it via the Happy Cow app. The Hummusapien pizza was actually to die for. Hummus on stonebaked pizza, it works. A hidden gem.

Pros: Pizza. It’s awesome, Cheap as chips for a decent meal
