Could do a bit better

I really like this pub, but as a vegan, I feel they could do better. We ate here in December, there was a choice of 2 vegan starters, which were both delicious. There was only one vegan main course. It was fine, but it was small, and it felt like the love and thought that had been given to the rest of the menu hadn't been given to this dish. Our meat-eating friends had full colourful plates of food, some of which they couldn't finish. While we were busy ordering extra vegetables and chips. It might be that most of the clientelle here are meat eaters, but if there was big more thought and choice, perhaps more people would choose the vegan options.

Yummy food in cosy setting

I’ve been here a few times and have always found the vegan options exciting and varied.
The restaurant is very cute and cosy, and the garden is lovely in summer. Staff are very good and friendly.
Last time I had bread and oil to start which was very tasty, and a tortellini main which was delicious.
I also tried the vegan bao buns which were very rich but very good.
Quite pricey but worth it for the food quality and standard of service.
